GreenLeaf Nutrients’ Sea-K Kelp Extract?

Has anyone here ever used GLN’s Sea-K? I’ve been using Rhizotonic anytime I transplant, and its worked wonders for me, plants don’t even skip a beat. However, Rhizotonic is a little hard on the ol bank account, so i’ve been looking for something that will give comparable results. I’ve got a bottle of GH’s bio-root, but for whatever reason, it doesn’t seem to work quite as well. I feed megacrop currently and i’m very happy with it, so I’ve been considering giving their Sea-K a shot, as it has not only Ascophyllum Nodosum, but also IAA, GA3 and Mannitol. It’s very affordable as well, $10 for a 250g bag, so probably gonna just give it a shot and find out for myself, but I’m curious if anyone else has used it before and what their experience has been?

I personally wouldn't have it in a rez, but if I'm just making it to feed right there and then I would use it. other people might say dif. my personal opinion
Anybody chime in and give some info on their kelp?

Thanks for the heads up. It gucks up lines? Sediment?

I was getting problems with lines getting clogged with it. sediment not so much, just the tubing would just have a slower flower. in general, I think it's just a good side thing to use every once in a while I use about 2 grams for 6 gals of water. ill feed it in then I won't use it for a few weeks.

im in hydro and i put it in a week ago out of curiosity because I had some laying around. it turned my crystal clear rez to a black gunky mess and i dont know how much it actually helped cause i put it in all 3 reservoirs instead of testing it beforehand unfortunately.

its been a week and rez is dark brown now instead of black but still really gunky and messy. im all for it though if the kelp actually helps the plants in someway.

I'm using the new two part Mega, it has no kelp in it and comes out clear when mixed.
Velokelp is $40 a litre here in Canada. Doesn't gum up my lines though.

I ordered a 250g bag of the Greenleaf Kelp to give it a try. I run drip clean, so we will see what happens... will it plug up my lines and screw my reservoirs (55 and 30 gallon)?

The two part Megacrop is pretty PH stable. Adding the kelp and bennies will probably cause some drift.

the 2 part. my dehumidifier and ac keep my water topped off continously. the waters gotten alittle brown instead of full black.so im assuming the plants are eating it? i dunno.

ive read about kelp not being able to be used by plants unless humic acid is present to break it down. i just tried it cause i had it laying around and i know the only bad thing itll do is gunk up my rez cause its an organic
