Any bow hunters here?

I just got a new crossbow this weekend, it's pretty sweet and it's fast.

Got a package deal for $475 it came with everything to get me started shooting -
Killer Instinct Ripper 415 crossbow (415 fps 150 lbs kinetic energy 200 lb draw)
Quick release quiver
3 bolts w/field tips
Illuminated scope (red/blue)
Rope cocker
3 100 grain broad heads
Nice softshell crossbow case all kinds of pockets for my extra shooting gear and bolts
Rail lube

I bought a Yellow Jacket brand target to shoot at and 12 more bolts with field trips. Really happy with this bow, it's my first one. I'm out in my yard sighting in my scope right now I'm shooting at 30 yards, not doing too bad, probably a couple more shots and adjustments I'll be hitting bullseye

Nice...wonder how it will do against a wild pig aka boar. Nice setup.

Yeah I don't know how well it would penetrate into a wild boar, I know that they have some thick tough skin.

I most likely wouldn't boar hunt with my bow anyways, I've had boar meat before and didn't care for it at all. Doesn't make much sense to me to shoot something I won't eat. I know they're considered a nuisance and I don't believe there's even a hunting season or that you need a permit to shoot one.

It came with the bow as a package deal, I ordered it from some bow shop in New Jersey thru eBay.

It's the slayer case, Killer Instinct website doesn't have any available right now, but you could check on eBay or Amazon maybe
