Need some help

I bought some distilled water for ph calibration but also in case i needed to water it with nutrient free water.
Distilled water can not be PH balanced. It has nothing to stabilize the water, no Ions = no balance if you are using distilled please put at least 1/4 strength nuts then Ph balance.

If you are flushing with it then you don't have to but I would still recommend so, this will help also with ph balance the soil/medium.

If your ph is 7-8 then yes, you have a lockout.
No lie that is kind of weird to use fish water but no judgment. Also, I have no clue what the ppm of fish water can be.
Also, you need your tap water to sit out.
I suggest get like a 25 gallon or even a 5-gallon bucket and have the water sit out to get all the chlorine out.
Add liquid nuts first then PH balance, please use a pump to have water moving.
Well i've seen a bunch of hydroponic setups that use fishtank water since it's always in motion and there's almost always a bubbler to provide oxygen for the fish, then the fish waste makes nitrates that feed the plants and so on... I tested the ppm of the fish water and it was around the 300s.
So instead of tap water should i just use distilled water with added nutrients? I have cal-mag that i can add on and i have Ph regulators too.
My worry is that since the water hasn't fully dried and it's been a while, after a flush my roots might drown? is there a way to prevent that?

Also, i tested the PH in the soil before and it was in the 6-7 area... i tested again today and it was closer to the 7-8 area by a bit but again i havent really watered in a while.

Yes, you can use the distilled over the tap, this will allow you to use the water right away with added nuts and PH balance.
What mix are you using Coco, Peat moss with perlite? I don't know how your drainage is or the perlite ratio, so that is a possibility to drown them.
I can not give any information in regard tot he aquaponics, as I don't know much about it and fish waste with N-P-K

I'm using foxfarm ocean forest potting soil. I didn't really add anything to, just straight out of the bag... I suppose i could mix in more perlite if the roots haven't yet expanded out in the container
