Outside grow

I have a plant outside. All of my others have been in a tent. She is super weird. Went back in to veg a couple of weeks ago, I am not seeing anything that looks close to trying to flower. Should I bring her in and put her under a 12/12 light and kinda push her into flower ?

I wouldn't bring an outdoor plant anywhere near your indoor plants.

Bugs are a real issue with that.

Was the outdoor plants getting light pollution at night?

Street lamps, house windows, yard lights.

Things of that nature.

You can bring them in if you have a quarantine area far from your indoor grow. A couple bug and fungus treatments and it should be fine in two weeks to introduce to the grow.

I swear the IR on my security cameras stressed one of my plants outside this year. Never had issues with the security light. 5 min on. Suspect it is continuous light source at night.

That's a risk I cant bring myself to take lmao. I have thought I had insects taken care of just to find out the next day I really didn't.

Il hit you up to see what you do in that situation to ensure all are gone. Because I havent gotten that right yet.

I have a spare room with leds in the basement. Blocked the registers. Jacks and neem oil for two weeks. A dusting of diatomaceous earth a week before I think they are ready. Use it for clearance rescue orchids before I add them to my living room. Works for weeds to. Reveged a couple times with it and got some fungus gnats once. None since using the earth on soil as well as plant.

I will give something similar a try. Thank you.

Yes there is an outdoor light I didn’t even think about that. Will she still flower or do I need to move her

Depending on the size of your plant my buddy uses a refrigerator box and some bricks so it doesn't get blown away.

Something like that that is removable for the morning works well.

Only issue with that is waking up early to remove the box.

I believe the answer will be yes. Preferably nothing total darkness. But nothing more than moonlight. Just not full moon. LOL. Wizz?
Thank u Wizz
Gonna have to move or cover her at night. Those light leaks will keep confusing her.
I have a tent in the garage. I’m gonna bring her in and out her under a light to finish. Thank u so much for the advice

Yeah, bringing an outside plant indoors is kind of begging for trouble even if you keep it separated from your indoor plants. Bugs do have a tendency to move about and soon or later you might get lazy or complacent and all well will break loose.

Just another cheap easy fix. Landscape fabric doubled makes a great shade between two posts.View attachment 4677673View attachment 4677673
This just gave me an idea.

If you put that on a projector roller you can easily roll it out on all sides at night to totally cut off all light. In the morning release the hook holding them in place and roll them back.

Could even do one on top if lamp posts are an issue.

Same problem here. There's light from the security system on all four sides of the house sooooo. I block as much as I can even tho these plants flower on genetics instead of light and dark, soooooo, we'll see. I'm in 2nd week of flower, may 3rd and so far so good.

Yikes! I've been keeping an eye out for that and there's one plant that I am suspicious of. It was a late bloomer and doesn't have the flower power as the other three. I've been looking for rounded leaves but none so far but what else is telltale?

You wont see the buds growing. But the leaves. Round, and smooth on the edges is your sign.

Heavy duty spring clips. The orange rubber coated ones. And it is removable and adjustable at will. Cheaper to. KISS. Worked for me for years.
