Early chop or wait it out

Cold co freezing rain do I harvest early or wait it out and risk loosing everything 2 plants r six weeks into flower other two are like 4 . They’re pretty much laying over ...

I didn’t prepare like I should have .
noob mistake live and learn .

the two that are further along maybe I take them and leave the other ..
What u think ?

Unless it’s going to be below freezing for more than 24 hours, let em go. Personally, I’d rather have 1/2 a harvest of mature bud than chop too early.

Only you can decide what’s best for you but there’s no way they are even close unless you’re running autos or some type of early strain.

Well I chopped the early strain . It was orange crush at 6 weeks of flower the other two I’m leaving . its a 7 week strain I guess so we’ll see .

I guess technically it was about 7 weeks in flower but ... hopefully the other two bounce back tomorrow and I don’t loose too much potency in my early chop my trigger finger was happy I just didn’t want a total loss in either direction .

Largest September snow in 20 years in co go figure .
Saw that on my news feed all the way in mass. Sorry to hear, If your plants are established enough I think you'd be able to scrape any snow off the root zone and shake out the plants, even easier if they're in pots.

They should be alright, Id be worried about the unexpected snow load breaking branches or anything.
