Outdoor grow, plans for the future...

So, I live on acouple hundred acres of land... Im thinking about buying some Feminized seeds (about 10-15) and planting them this spring within my land...

Problems I see with this are:
1: Hunters come around during fall... but not till about time I would harvest or after harvest...

2: The sight I have found is a BIT close to a road... but I might have found another spot the other day, but deer might eat the seedlings...

3: Most of my property is either open feild or dense woods.

4: there are two workers on my land that moniter the land quite often, but NEVER go deep into the wood's...

Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful... thanks.

You own a couple hundred acres of land? I doubt that.
no need to be an ass or anything, did I EVER say I OWN a couple hundred acres? nope, I said I live on acouple hundred acres. I am renting a house on a HUGE estate and I have free rain of the land. Marijuana DOES grow naturally where I live but mostly in the east of my state. And if the plants are found on 300+ acres people will just think some kids are growing some weed on our land...

So as I was asking, anyone see any other problems with this? and would weed grow ok in dense forest? I know they need 3x3 feet of nothing around it for its roots... any help would be nice.

If theres a lot of hunting in the area its a pretty big risk. being close to a road is pretty risky too. A cousin of mine had his miles from any road, you had to hike for hours to get there, and he still got busted so, I would think you have an even greater chance of getting caught

well, as I said, Bow season doesnt start until about harvesting time and gun season is way past harvesting time, only one hunter on our land is a bow hunter and there are only I think 3-4 hunters that have promission to hunt on our land... So this being said... I think I'm going to try it out...

How well does Marijuana grow in dense woods? it should get plenty of light... but not TONS.

since you want it to appear -natural- look for a natural south facing clearing... you want ur plants to get at least a few hours of direct sunlight each day. get rid of anything in your house related to growing. un-bookmark this site on your cpu. consider having no scales or paraphenalia if possible. get a 'bazooka' water gun so you can apply pesticide and deer repellant :D (don't walk around the plants.) if you are going to walk around the plants consider buying a pair of shoes that are like 3 sizes too big and wear 40 lbs. of weights when ur visiting them :D don't cut the plants or tie them down in anyways. keep the boots off property and be ready to dispose of them. the idea is to be able to claim ignorance of their growth. it actually helps that you don't own the land. good luck. (put the boots on in a vehicle and always approach your plants from a public road, not from ur house.)

(edit) also try to plant from soil to soil (no perlite in your starter soil, no peat or rockwool, etc. scatter them around a bit as mother nature might. don't plant them in even rows... so they might pass as not having been planted.)

WOw this gets a little intimidating.
I'm interested in planting on my own property and had no sense of needing to be so clandestine. That said, although my land is clearly labelled PRIVATE -- we get hunters through all the time -- and ATV riders too.
I'm grateful to hear of the deer repellent. that would not have occurred to me and I really don't want to use pesticides if possible. we have a beautiful little ecosystem that is so healthy I don't want to go in and do any stupid human tricks to screw it up.
Are there other plants that resemble cannabis that i could plant alongside to camouflage the plants?
