Pale growth after FIM/TOP

Hey all, 1st time trying FIM instead of topping. LST is on and it’s been about 10 grays since the fim/lst. Question is this new growth is lime greenish, I’m currently using 1/4 strength Golden Tree nuets by Humboldts Secrete every other water. Is the limish color norm? Do I need to add more nuets to help them catch up? Ive got 6 plants that all look like this. Thx in advance.
FFHF soil/perlite -70/30
3- viparspectra P1500 (144w) draw each
2-Supplemental Led lights (60w draw)
4x4 tent - 6” inline , 2 oscillating fans
- humidifier
Temps- L 72/75, H 76/81
Humid- 60-65% lights , 65-75% lights off

At first glance it looks to be over watered and possible nute imbalance. Need more info.

What is your watering schedule and what are your soil and runoff pH readings?

Why are you using nutrients in a soil that is already fertilized?

"FFHF soil/perlite -70/30"
Fox Farms is bad. If you read most threads on here where people are having similar issues they're using FFOF or FFHF and having issues.

I've highlighted some areas of your plant that look like you've been breaking off crispy tips? The upper leaves having "frosted tips" as I like to humerously call them and or that slight brown at the tip is usually from fertilizers being a tad too strong actually. You may be having a nutrient lockout since you added that stuff to your soil.

Do you have a fan directly blasting the plant(s)?

That’s the growth out from the original FIM cut. No leaves are crispy. I’m starting to regret FFHF. I’ve been using .5 ml golden tree/gallon. Chart calls for 1ml-2ml/gal. I also just ordered Humboldts Base A+B because I originally thought golden tree was a mix of everything but it lacks Nitrogen so I’m going to stack those three together along with transplant to 3gal fabric pots. I just fed today so I’m going to wait a until they dry up first. Thoughts? And thanks for the reply.

They def had a couple rounds of overwatering when they were younger. I’m adding Humboldts base ab to see if that helps.
They’re in 1gal now- usually every 4 days I water

The fans oscillate on the lowest setting , just a gentle breeze. One is blowing on the pots and other one on the canopy

That is good to hear, they need that oscillating flow for sure. Just a very gentle dance is all you should see on the plants. Also keep any heaters/dehumidifiers away from the plants & fans blowing at the plants.

Regarding the beat up tips that looks like maybe the plant suffered a nutrient burn? I would avoid Fox Farms in the future. Every time I'm at the grow shop people having issues are always using fox farms and it seems like an issue in this sub-forum as well.

forgot the ph- water/feed is PH’d to 6.4-6.5 , last runoff on one of the plants in question was right at 6.5- last time I checked the soil is when I transplanted and it was 7.0 - it’s been a few days since I posted this, and they still look the same. I fed 1ml/gal golden tree today. Waiting game until I transplant and add the base a/b.

I have a big bag of Mother’s Earth Coco/perlite. When I transplant to 3 gal can I make a switch or do you think that will just add to the problem ??

I second lowering air movement in the tent a bit. Honestly though you are probably just SOL I'm noticing a ton of new threads with your same symptoms and all the people are using Fox Farms..

Here’s happy frog analysis , so you think I shouldn’t be adding and more nuets ? Even with lime green plants?

At this point it's too late to "fix" anything. Definitely steer clear of any Fox Farms soil or nutes in the future. It's looking like Fox they may have put out a bad lot of soil.

As other users have pointed out there are quite a few questions similar to yours and Fox Farm soil has been the common denominator.

It would be interesting if everyone who is experiencing issues AND using Fox Farm soil could start comparing batch numbers or whatever control #'s are printed on the bag.

I have coco/perlite, I’m transplanting soon, think I should use mostly the coco/perlite? It’s mother’s earth

Roots, black gold, humboldt nutrients line.. see what your local shop carries. Anything other than Fox Farms. Also I know it's a little late in the season but if you have any reputable plant nurseries they usually have primo soil.
