Flushing: really necessary??

Hey guys,

First time grower seeing lots of conflicting opinions and research on the 14+ day flush. What does everyone here think about it? While a smoother and cleaner smoke sounds appealing, so does having big, juicy buds that continue to be fed into the last phase.

Looking for advice from preferably people who have tried both methods!

You already know there will be conflicting opinions, so why ask?

Some will say you should flush, others will say don't flush, others will say you should only flush your toilet.

This question gets asked every other day....so do you really think this post will give you a definitive answer?

Personally I'm not flushing. I will however minimize N feedings towards the end of flower. Bloom nutes and supplements are still a go for me. I may dip into a little broscience but flushing ain't on the list. Gonna run 24 hrs darkness before chopping and right after last booster is given. When that will be is still in the air.

Please note that while flushing.. the plant will eat itself. Which is the only known fact about flushing (I think)

Well I was asking for advice from people that have tried BOTH methods not the ones that feel the need to insist their views are better despite never having tried the other way. Thanks for your super helpful response however!

Thank you for your genuinely helpful answer! I know it might be a question that is asked regularly but I really didn't expect to get shat on by so many people for just asking a simple question...

Ahah this is getting tiring, like I said above, I am asking specifically those people who have tried BOTH methods. I have looked at many forums discussing the matter but there seems to be very few people who have tried both, I was merely trying to see if there were any out there willing to share their views. Thx tho x

So having to read our opinions on why you shouldn’t have started another thread on flushing, is annoying? Good now you know how we felt reading your post.

First timer as well . Got three ladies a month a into flower . Been a book worm since day one about them . And in all my reading you are the first person to bring up , NOT flushing your plants . Lots of hours spent reading and never have I heard not to . Just my honest opinion .

Look, if this thread annoys you, just ignore it. No one here is asking for your complaints and you'll notice I posted it in the newbie thread so that 'connoisseurs' such as yourself don't have to be affected by simple questions. Not my fault you've got nothing else going on than to endlessly scroll through rollitup forums also I never said it was annoying just tiring trying to get my simple point through your thick skull. Kisses xx
