Auto flowers 18 6 or 12 12

I have 3 blue cheese autos growing. There actually turning out a lot better then I expected them too considering I stressed them plants worse then a nagging wife lol but I have them on a light schedule of 18 6 they have been budding for about 2 maybe 3 weeks and I have one plant out of the 3 that is much farther ahead then the other two. Would me switching too 12 12 help the other plants catch up or should I just leave them on 18 6. I want too get the best buds I can and I’ve read mixed reviews on light schedules. Some people say more dark time means more thc on buds and that they grow more with more darkness which means bigger buds right. Is this true should I be giving them more then 6 hours of sleep.

It seems like 18/6 or 24/0 is what most people run for autos. I'm running my veg tent 20/4 right now, vegging plants seem to like that.

Autos don't need short nights and I am somewhat dubious of the claim that more THC is produced at night.

It's not a bad idea IMO the bigger the plant/more tops developed can get you up near the max yield for the strain (I kinda don't know that to be 100% true... am I reaching here?) lol

The daily updates may be a bit overkill, but I enjoyed it. Plus it gives a perfect written dairy of what I did in case I screw something up.
