Nah I am am over where it jumped i80. Was coming straight for our neighborhood. They evacuated 5 blocks away from me. I have friends who lost everything on the out skirts of Vacaville.

I still want to know the answers to your questions. No disrespect to anyone affected. But im here to learn.
Yea that’s my feeling. I guess even if nobody knows the answers, we will find out soon enough? Also weed is a hobby for me and meant to keep my mind off shit, such as my entire state burning up, LOL.

Ya, these fires suck ass. It's been smokey here too in CO from all the fires everywhere. The last couple days I've been breathing clean air though since the cold snowy whether we've had.

I remember ash filled skies in WA when Mt. St. Helens erupted and I was all the way in Seattle. It was like it was snowing, but it was ash instead. I was 7 at the time and when it finally settled down, I went out collecting it off all the cars and jarring it up. That would've really fucked up buds in the whole state. Sounds like a State of Emergency to me if everyone's buds get fucked up, lol.

Forgot that catastrophe. We all watched it for weeks. Lulled into a perverse ratings ploy. Crazy world we live in. A thought for the victims.

I owe @Mrs. Weedstein an apology for my outburst with my previous post. It's not their fault what's happening right now. It's just so frustrating seeing peoples entire life reduced to ash and not being able to do anything. It just sucks. I know other people that may have lost property or still may but I haven't been in touch with them and I'm not going to bother them with texts or phone calls when they have more important issues than giving me an update. So I sit here safe in Portland wondering how they're doing.

As to the effects of the smoke causing hermies or anything I wouldn't worry about it. Ash getting in the buds is what to worry about. Also with the particulates in the air the blue light from the sun isn't getting through which is what causes the sky to look orange. I don't know what impact the lack of the blue will have but most likely negligible.

Its understandable man. Don't sweat it. We are all on edge from this.

Yeah we have had more than enough bad shit this year, I'm so over 2020. If you need anything let me know I'm in Portland as well and I've got access to a small suv as well as a 3/4 ton truck if it could help anyone out with moving anything to safety.

The video of the town of Detroit burnt to the ground are heartbreaking.
I was born and raised in Salem, saw the footage on KPTV last night. Detroit and The North Fork area were our playgrounds; fishing, boating and swimming. Just can't believe how fucked it was seeing the only thing left was the little store as you hit town. All the years stopping there for beer, booze and ice. All we need for the cherry on top is a Cascade Subduction Zone quake. Fuck this year.

Looks like Molalla is next, as they’ve been ordered to evacuate. Oregon City and Canby are told to be ready to evacuate. Insanity. I would gladly accept a bad case of bud rot for a decent rainstorm right about now.
