Are you using tap water is it city or well

Is he using ro water and starting at zero or is he at a fuckee up well coming out at 650

I think his ppm meter is probably off.
I have a cheap one that measures at 1/2 what an expensive one measures.

So what’s normal

I usually run no greater than about 1000 in the middle of the flower. Seedlings are around 200, veg around 400-600 and flower from 600-800 usually. I'd also calibrate your pH meter.
