Cant't tell if my FIM worked ( 1 Week after )

Im not sure 4 heads are gonna come or only one is there a sure sign that it worked ? pictures of the 4 plans :

I tried fiming but I feel like I suck at it lol sometimes I only stunted the growth and other times it did work but I rarely got 4 tops, mostly 2 or 3 with the more rarer times 4.
I was told after its better to use your fingers and just squeeze the top till you "get the plant juices on your fingertips" as I was told by a friend who swears by it.
