Kerosene lanterns are sold specifically as Greenhouse heaters. K1 kerosene should only be used in an enclosed area.Anyone have any insight to the use of kerosene heaters with a grow?

worked out perfectly. my g'house isn't insulated at all , just those clear plastic panels and it kept it at 50F even when it was in the 20s at nite.Did it work out ok? I love harbor freight lol
TY. Wondering about carbon monoxide and possible toxin deposits on plants.i used a harbor freight tank top propane heater to save my tomatoes in the greenhouse.
it has air gaps at the door and a few holes from previous hail damage. but yeah, if it was totally sealed, CO could be aproblemTY. Wondering about carbon monoxide and possible toxin deposits on plants.
I have a 6'" high flow brushless inline with carbon. A 5000 CFM stand fan and a couple cheap oscillating stand ones. Greenhouse leaks like the Trump whitehouse. Have a plan for a cinder block partial enclosure and hood to divert the exhaust out and block IR and direct heating of plastic covering 7' above. Fire safety first always. Currently running 2 1500 W oil radiators. Manage 75 at 50F. Drops exponentially below that. That is 38-39 Amps on two 20 Amp circuits. Note. Always use 10 AWG when installing growing room circuits. I have minimal heat due to thermal resistance. Standard 12AWG would have melted or ignited already. Trying to reduce the use so to speak.it has air gaps at the door and a few holes from previous hail damage. but yeah, if it was totally sealed, CO could be aproblem
i have a propane garage heater that might do the trick for you. i forget the brand (mr heater?) but it doesn't need power and it has a thermostat so you can set it. it will turn off and on by itself. somehow the flame will store up power/energy in the ignitor to re-fire itself.I have a 6'" high flow brushless inline with carbon. I own four kerosene square room heaters with catalytic screens on all. Way dirtier than propane or LNG I agree. I'm frugal and already put a couple years of play money into my set up. Make sure the downspouts are attached to the gutters. My kids and dogs keep knocking ours off. It doesn't stop all the water from entering our 100 year old basement but it helps keep the majority out.I was thinking about going to the basement until it started filling up with water when it's raining
By reasonably priced extended drain deflectors. Cheap plastic flex pipe. I had to clear a sizeable burm.Make sure the downspouts are attached to the gutters. My kids and dogs keep knocking ours off. Agreed I live in Vt and 55°F was 2 days ago high for the day lol, yesterday was 77, today will be in the 60's... cold is in January and its 20 below lol... i have family in florida and when it goes below 70 they toss on their coats lol, my coat doesnt come out till the snow sticks and then we dig out all our winter stuff and get right into snow activities with the kiddos lol and its 28°F outsideI'm gonna put this in perspective for all of you.
