That was my concern. With them being behind I didn't want to put them in any kind of shock to put them back even more. I really wonder why they are behind. One reason I can think of is maybe the light pollution where I have them outside. At night it really ain't as dark as I would of wanted. Could that be a reason?
Probably more strain related than human error
Plus weather...
These are some of mine today
If you had a light issue it wouldn't be in flowerQb4slAjPQdKtCsIpeYInKw.jpg

Okay. Backlight is really bad. But serious PM issue forced me to go beyond my normal hacking. Northern lights. No shade leaves just over a week ago. Have some really good documentation of xtreme defol and results in progress.

Yeah they look good. Nice big arm sized colas!!. This is my first grow. It was actually a covid courintine project then I just fell in love with the hobby. Can't wait to start another grow but this time indoor. But I'm still stuck on why my plants are so far behind????

I'll have to take a peak at your set up. Might find something for you. Yes Covid started some growers on the addiction. A silver lining so to speak. I got stuck with 6 plants that were supposed to go to new homes because of it. And the ensuing issues of over crowding. PM if any questions. Happy to help. Can't get around well as of late. Forum or talk to plants and the dog.

8 plants in a box made of 12 hay bales filled with pro-mix
Yeah I noticed the raised beds. I heard that pro mix is really, really good!! Quality!! If I would of known what I know now my plants would be totally different. Cause when I started I literally did not know a thing about growing bud. Things would be different!

Speaking of my set up personally I see alot wrong. Like I said when I started I didn't know what I was doing. But my plants are on the rooftop of a party store. I actually live above the store. But out back there a flat part where you can walk out on. I have them in 5 gallon buckets witch in my opinion is way to small. That's my first mistake. Idk next time will be a way better and bigger grow

And I just use cheap nutrients. I know you get what you put in but again at first I didn't know what I was doing

I use cheap nutes. All the same base compounds regardless of how pretty the package or price. It's knowing how to use them.

Yeah it's all the same ppk or whatever. And my plants look pretty healthy and good considering how I started and not knowing anything. Bit over the months I did tons of research and now I'm pretty confident I can grow some good bud but it's trial and error.

From your pics and soil I would assume soil density hindered your growth. Not nutes. Look healthy.
And yes I totally get it. I used cheap soil and mixed it with top soil from outside. At the time I was seriously broke. It's kinda embarrassing bit hey it is what it is. My soul is way to compact. No airation! Like I said at first I didn't know what I was doing but considering they turned out pretty damn healthy

I've come to believe it is trial and multiple errors forever after 30+ years. I'm still erring and tweaking. Very few things are mandatory.

Check page 11 of my journal for a proven soil recipe that is very low maintenance and productive.
