Growing with generators?

Ok I'm getting a 10000 watt generator that runs at half load on 6 gal tank I'll have 5000 watts to use for 12 hours during my flowering time but my question is there a way I can make or buy a timer to turn the generator on and off if it has a electric start if anybody can help please thx

hard to imagine how 'generator' and 'one bedroom loft' can go hand in hand...

but anyway... good luck w/ the generator issue... and ... BRO, please consider cutting back to 99 plants or less. (obviously when you clone ur back over 99 again... but at least half the time you'd be better off). The penalties for growing 99 plants vs. 100 plants + is a pretty drastic jump. Just vedge ur 99 plants longer if you need to fill up the area more.

(EDIT) saw a grow op get popped in the news the other day... i have to say, this fool got popped with 1039 plants or something like that. Just over 999 plants. With 40 plants less he'd be doing WAAAAY less federal jail time.

But not as detectable since the only expenses will be the gas which isn't monitored like electriciy.

And to answer your question,yes you can rig them up to turn on automatically.How I'm not sure but would think it would have to do with electric current to a sensor being disabled by a timer.We've built a few million dollar Homes that have backup generators that when the power goes out it will automatically cut on.

I'm guessing there is some sensor that always has juice going to it form teh house adn when the power goes out the sensor would tell the generator there is no longer and juice to the house and cut it on.


It would probably depend ont eh type of generator you got.A construction or garage generator for welding prolly would be hard to do this with but a home back up system would be perfect.

So your going to have 140 plants, 5000 watts worth of lights, and a 10,000w generator all in a 1 bedroom loft...........???

Don't even bother. Sounds like your going to get busted before you even reach your first harvest.

want your money its there bisness to sell you it. that gen
running all load all day thats not going to be suspicius

look man wait it out dont do it why you are living there
the best place to do it would be in a nice 500,000 house
basement 2+ acres of land with a high powered generater
that you can have ruing for the whole grow dont do it where
you are located now but if you do decide to be hard headed
keep your fucking mouth shut dont tell god you're grow thats
just how it is i will post a link about growing commercially
the rich dont get caught so move to a rich community with a basement
