As the heading suggested , will a bit of baking powder and a bio soap spray be effective in combating leaf spot mould?? I got the idea off Google whilst looking into what fungicidal sprays are on the market generally!

.

I've never used it but I've read several posts of people using it with good results.

Yeah I'm hoping it will work, it is said to be virtually harmless and safe on flowers etc which is good as mine are about 11days into 12/12 . The weather is not helping with constant high humidity. Grrrrrrrrr..

look up powdery mildew and see if the images match to make sure, but as has been mentioned above or a 40%milk to 60% warter in a spray bottle will work too

Really, milk? We had a craze of growing carrot tops in a saucer of water when I was a kid. They looked like little islands with Palm trees. Anyway I was told putting milk in the saucer would be good but it killed it !!!

thats because it was too much milk and it was just sitting stagnent. Milk is great for many things but sitting carrot tops in a saucer is not one of them. Im assuming the bacteria in the milk will eat or destroy the mold growing....

Don't use baking powder. Some people use baking soda. And some people use milk. And both will work in a pinch. But potassium bicarbonate and a dash of castile soap are better.
Use about (a little less than) a table spoon of potassium bicarbonate and a little bit (half a teaspoon) of the soap per gallon of water.
Good luck friend!

1 1/2 TEAspoons with around 20% milk to water in a one liter water bottle with a spray nozzle. The bag will last forever times 10
Excellent. I've only ordered 100g off eBay as I'm well short of money but looking forward to using some. Thanks for your advice.
