Couldn't get the picture to attach at first, I think I fixed itPics?
Would this lamp work? They need more light. I have a plant growing in my living room for fun. It's in a corner that doesn't get much light. I put a 100w equivalent (24 actual watt) daylight LED bulb in a lamp to keep them from stretching and to prevent them from flowering.

No. That's only 3.5 watts. Just put a regular LED bulb in a regular lamp. I'm using the 23 or 24 watt daylight bulb that's equivalent to a 100 watt incandescent. Any regular lamp will work, but 3.5 ain't shit.Would this lamp work?View attachment 4684687
I'm sure I could manage that, thanks for the advice! No. That's only 3.5 watts. Just put a regular LED bulb in a regular lamp. I'm using the 23 or 24 watt daylight bulb that's equivalent to a 100 watt incandescent. Any regular lamp will work, but 3.5 ain't shit.
No problem.I'm sure I could manage that, thanks for the advice!
The pot they're in already has a drainage system, how would I fix an issue with air circulation? Not only stretching but trying to damp off from excessive wetness it appears. Air circulation and drainage.
I'm definitely going to do that. This grow was mainly a test run with some random bagseeds that I found, I have extra seeds and can try again if these fail epically. I really just wanted to see if I could actually grow something, and these little seeds definitely exceeded my expectations! The main reason for them all being in the same pot was to account for having to get rid of any of them if they turned out to be males. I appreciate the advice!I would start with separating those seedlings. They will thank you for it. Then replant them deeper. And keep more light on them. Also water less. Good luck friend!
they're roots will be all tangled by the time they show sex............................i think.........I'm definitely going to do that. I've already moved them to their own pots, I didn't realize at first how mature they'd have to be before determining sexthey're roots will be all tangled by the time they show sex............................i think.........
Definitely stretching. Luckily you can plant it down a bit and like tomatoes they will form new roots/thrive.Hey, this is my first ever grow and my setup is extremely minimal. I'm attempting to grow on my windowsill, and would like to avoid the hassle and cost of setting up a whole grow room. Are my seedlings stretching or am I just being overly worried? My plants are a little over a week old.View attachment 4684676
I like the way you handled seeing that 3.5w lol I know a few that woulda used that as a baseball bat.No. That's only 3.5 watts. Just put a regular LED bulb in a regular lamp. Yea definitely bury the stem i agree.Definitely stretching. Luckily you can plant it down a bit and like tomatoes they will form new roots/thrive.
It definitely keeps them shorter using the higher Kelvin spectrum. That's partly why I suggested using a Daylight LED bulb. It's probably like 5000k. The Warm and Cool have lower K ratings, so more red. Warm has the lowest K rating.I like the way you handled seeing that 3.5w lol I know a few that woulda used that as a baseball bat.
I agree with you as well. More light. Preferably in the blue spectrum more than reds. It will keep them short supposedly.
