@pop22
What are your thoughts on the diablo's? I recently finished purchasing a bunch of 288's to complete my flower room and I heard about these right afterwards...doh.
Wow! Going to use side lighting or just above?So far, performance has been excellent! This is my first grow with Diablos. Next grow will be the real test, I'll be growing a single plant in a 30 gallon growbag.

I only asked because I did a big one once:

Did you ever find the diode specifications of the QB 96 v2 elites? HLG only states this on their site.View attachment 4666916View attachment 4666917
They are maxed out in this photo, they will pull up to about 290w each once they are warm.
I'm gonna guess they are from the Samsung 5050 series: https://www.samsung.com/led/lighting/high-power-leds/5050-leds/Did you ever find the diode specifications of the QB 96 v2 elites? HLG only states this on their site.
"QB96 Elite V2 is a white LED Board with boosted red spectrum. Each Board is powered by 64 high power white LED, 16 630nm Red LED and 16 660nm Deep Red LED. QB96 Elite V2 offers a wider spectrum than standard 70 CRI, 80 CRI and 90 CRI LED."
Lumileds Luxeon 5050 are used for the white diodes.Did you ever find the diode specifications of the QB 96 v2 elites? HLG only states this on their site.

Ooh, I have a distantly related question: I’m hustling to buy a (1) HLG 600 R but I think the connections look cheesy compared to the more clean units sold Assembled. Particularly the plastic bars linking boards electrically on the sink. Wondering if I can buy the kit to save $, but obtain the cleaner factory connectors to upgrade it. Obviously w/out bringing my net cost all the way up. Can u share any thoughts?Yes, there is a new bin coming soon, as you mentioned. There are two different bar style lights coming very soon, the Scorpion Diablo and the Scorpion Rspec. Production starts Monday on these, so they should be available next week for purchase.
NICE!!!!I only asked because I did a big one once:

Tag Stephen from HLG in your question.Did you ever find the diode specifications of the QB 96 v2 elites? HLG only states this on their site.

If you're talking about the parts that @PJ Diaz showed, those are just "covers" as far as I know. The connectors are the same, on board (molex?) connectors as all the QBs.Ooh, I have a distantly related question: I’m hustling to buy a (1) HLG 600 R but I think the connections look cheesy compared to the more clean units sold Assembled.
