Stretching?

I'm just gonna chime in here because no-one has mentioned it, but if your window sill gets a lot of direct sunshine then it will be enough light to grow a pretty healthy plant...if you live somewhere sunny.

The chernobyl I'm currently growing was vegged on a window sill over summer, although I did end up moving it to the other side of the flat most nights for the evening sun. I knew I was going to flower her in a tent under HPS though.

Despite that there are still major flaws in your plan.

Making sure a plant on a window sill is getting 12 hours of darkness is not possible in most situations. This means you will find it very difficult to flower. (unless you can remember to never switch the light on in the room she's in?)

I always use lights for the flowering stage (never less than a few hundred watts) and have her either in a tent or tucked away in a cupboard where no light will disturb her.

I am not using the windowsill anymore, and I have a dark space that I can put my plants where they won't be disturbed.

Ime with tube lights standard, daylight, cfl and T5s there's not much to draw between them, there all ideal for cuttings and seedling, short nodes lengths but pretty slow compared to a mh.
Fwiw you can buy a 150w mh/hps light for very little money.

I am not using the 3W LED light, I actually didn't know what wattage it was when I posted the picture of it. That's why I posted the picture of that lamp and asked. The bulb that is in my current set-up is an LED that is used to replace a 150W incandescent (the actual wattage is around 20 I think). I switched because my window did not seem to be giving sufficient sunlight, as they were stretching quite a bit.

Not to worry...you've come to the right place to learn.

I've had plenty of seedlings stretch on me. The stretching itself is not really that important (as long as they do get enough light sooner rather than later), as you will invariably end up burying seedling deeper when you repot. The recommended LED light level for a grow is 50W per square foot. That's ACTUAL wattage btw. So you will need at least two 20W LEDs to get near that level.

I'll chime in here that light and table won't be enough for you in a few weeks and you won't have enough room by the time you get to flower head room that is unless you plan on inverting that light and hanging it from the ceiling your plants are probably gonna get at least 3 maybe 4 feet tall unless you top the and do allot of LST on them man.
