Autoflower question

Okay so i have an afghan ryder auto flower about a month and 2 weeks old.. it hasnt started budding at all! No pre flowers either just keeps getting bigger is that normal? Or do I have to switch to 12/12 light to get it to bud

If it's a real auto you should not have to switch but maybe put it to sleep for a day see if it flips
