A thorough soaking the day before a freezing night should provide enough moisture to keep most plants from feeling the effects of a frost. Water your plants early in the day, as soon as the temperature reaches 40 degrees Fahrenheit. This allows the plant enough time to absorb the moisture. Sprinkle water around the plant's base before nightfall while the temperature is still above 40 degrees Fahrenheit so that the soil stays moist throughout the freezing night.

Everyone make it okay? Had to be away last night and had someone help me close up the GH and get the fans right, seems to be okay. Going to spray for mold and bugs this morning and hope the temps get back up fast. Showing 29 on my way home this morning.
