I tried diagnosing myself, but this is only my 3rd grow and can’t nail it down, even with picture guides...HAAALLLLP!!! :)

1) PICTURE OF PLANT *** VERY IMPORTANT ***
White widow autoflowers, topped about 6 days ago, but otherwise have been looking healthy and they seemed not to even skip a beat after topping.

It sorta looks like it could be calcium related but then again that would usually show up more so on the newer growth.

I recall seeing something like this early on with a few of my previous plants that were otherwise healthy, but there’s more of it this time and they’re larger.
The Fox Farm soil is amended and supposed to have all the nutrients needed, at least for the first 6-8 weeks. I have some water with CalMag that’s diluted to 25% the strength it calls for...would it be a bad idea to give it a tiny bit of that?

The soil may be amended but usually the water accounts for the lions share of calcium so you may want to add some calmag. I have to add some with my tap water even though the PPM is 180 - 190. I would probably go with calmag at a rate of 2 - 2.5 ml per gallon (40 - 50% strength) and see if the problem persists.

Also, what do you do to avoid the soil becoming depleted after the first 6 - 8 weeks? Do you pot up before going into flower? How do you provide the added P & K during mid flower especially?

I’ve got some nutrients that I’ll start during early flower, but I’m going to reduce them this time because my plants got nutrient burn last round, even at 1/4 the recommended nutrients.

Also, is it easy to harm the plants by giving too much CalMag? Meaning, if I just give 25-50% of the recommended strength with each watering, do I need to keep an eye out for any specific telltale signs of too much CalMag?

I think I might have an idea of what’s going on, not 100% sure but I’ll try.

You claimed to have topped it 6 days ago.
The holes, rips and tears that you see, might look like bug markings but I believe it’s stress induced from the topping.
The pic that looks kinda like leaf septoria.. that could also be related as well.

I bet here in a few days maybe a week. .. you’ll notice that all that starts to disappear. The newer growth won’t be affected and ultimately it’ll end up being completely covered up, you won’t even notice those leaves anymore.

The only reason I believe this is what’s going on is, I’ve had it happen twice. GL- and all this is just my measly 2¢
