I have the grow formula, just used it for the first time yesterday, I’ll keep you updated! I have the bloom one just haven’t used it yet. I have heard great things about it. I asked the guys at the grow shop and at the same time, an elderly woman (looked very much the gardening master type) was picking up like 6 bottles of it. That confirmed its good for me hahaHi, Was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Bloom Soil Formula. 1-4-5 . I was thinking of purchasing a bottle and would like to get some advice good or bad before I did.
Thanks
I think the norm is grow nutrients until about 2 weeks into 12/12, then taper off and add more bloom until there’s no grow and only bloom.Yes please keep me updated. Sounds like it may be good stuff. Put my couple of plants on the 12-12 schedule a week ago and was told I would prob need to get them started on some nutrients This is my first grow so it def is a learning process.
Thanks, I will def hang in there. I haven't really added anything to them yet only a couple watering s with a bit of molasses in the water and they look pretty good , to me anyway lol. I did plant them in organic promix soil and that supposedly to have nutrients in it. I did get some pure blend but I didn't mix it very strong, about half what it called for, only did one watering with it yet.I think the norm is grow nutrients until about 2 weeks into 12/12, then taper off and add more bloom until there’s no grow and only bloom.
i haven’t really needed extra nutrients until this grow (my 3rd/4th). My soil mix is weird.
I’ll for sure try to keep you in the loop! I’m fighting some root issue right now, but I plan on flipping to 12/12 ASAP.
you learn so much your first grow. Whether it’s failures or goals met, so much to learn! I mean I’m still learning so damn much every grow. Keep it up, don’t get discouraged, and you’ll end up with a great product.
That much out there I just gets mesmerized looking lol. I am trying to keep it as organic as I can , they are in organic soil and I haven't given them anything that wasn't organic.I've used PBP years ago for a couple grows. It did no better or worse than any of the many other nutrients out there I have used over the years. The plant doesn't care about brands. All the plant cares about is getting the nutrients it needs. Which is why I switched years ago to an inexpensive dry nutrient and haven't looked back.
One difference with PBP is that it's organic based.
It's not owned by Monsanto. It's owned By Hawthorne Gardening which is a subsidiary of Scotts Miracle Gro. They also own General Hydroponics, Sun Systems, Gavita, and many other companies.I used PBP soil in coco for 8 years and I'm thinking of using it for my next grow as well. It's very good for an organic based nutrient and the quality of the final product is always excellent. I got into it when I used to frequent icmag forums, there was a guy named Crazy Composer that posted the most incredible PBP grows in coco-you can probably still find those threads if you look. The only reason I'm considering a different "organic" line is because Botanicare is owned by Monsanto now.
