My buddy Nanook told me about an alternative product from southern ag. Check out the pictures as the numbers speak for themselves.. Hydroguard is total bullshit with hardly anything in it and the other is cheaper. WTF?!

true that. I did buy a gallon of Hydroguard for $50 like 2-3 months ago cause I couldnt get my hands on GFF.
Lasted me a whole run and then some with my 3 70 gallon reservoirs at the recommended 2ml per gal every week. Not too shabby.
Ill never use it again though. I looked into Photosynthesis plus... its a bit more concentrated and has other bacteria strains with some mycorhizzae in it too. Ill use that if GFF isnt available.

and you can really start shaking your head when you realize that with a little simple sugar, some water and an air stone, you can multiply the bacteria and make a milliliter into a gallon.

would that mean its a consentrate and so you just use less of it at a time? they both have the same bacteria that i can find on the web.? just curious

TBH I am no expert on what sugar would be best, I can say I got stellar results with AN Carboload but I have gotten good results with just plain old brown sugar.

1 ml per 10 gallons seems to be a usual dose.
unless you believe their ads: their strain is "proprietary". lol.

I did AG in a bucket for bout 6 months.. i used normal sugar, and used Karo syrup (cause it was in the house) Both worked fine.. only issues i had was a massive gel layer on the bottom of the bucket and having to clean the air stone as it would get a clear gel coating also..
And i would give my plants tons of it since it was pretty much free... I stopped the bucket thing though, i only right 4 plants and a quart of AG lasts me like a year at this rate anyway.. so for $16.. fuck it

It's funny that you mention that.. but i am about to release "Super Bud Spray" as soon as you see buds start in veg.. you spray 1 time and within 2 months the buds will be massive.... $20.
