Keep up 1/8 veg Nutes in flower if you’re getting that deficiency. I came across a similar issue a few weeks into flower, I backed off the nitrogen/veg Nutes a big too much. Slowly taper off up until the final weeks of flower.
New Buds look brown and dry. Am I in trouble?

Nitro thru flower? I was told no nitrogen when it starts flowering, so I quit that and added flowering nutes. They're doing great and have white pistols and green leaves. I'm just starting one month in flower and they get fed every day. I guess it just depends on the strain or whether inside or outside and what the plant wants, etc. Sorry for interrupting....

I felt it was going to be to much bloom food/P or a PH issue from the pics.
Ph'ing water can also be the issue if it is being adjusted to 6.3-6.5 with a cheap uncalibrated meter.
Probably to much P.

I ditched the meters completely and went to the liquid tests. Don't have to calibrate and it gets you in the general range.

I think 6.3 is a bit low for soil. That would be a better range for coco.

This debate will go on til the end of time lol. Plants need nitrogen all throughout their life cycle. How much during flower is always up for debate. I'm sure it depends a lot on strain. That being said, I'd rather skimp on N during flower than add too much.

They have charts that show which nutrients are available at certain pH. 6.3-6.5 seems to be the optimal range for soil from what I've seen and read, but I'm not a scientist.

N is still needed during the stretch and needed less after the stretch is over.
P should be applied slowly if at all at the beginning of flower and is needed more after the stretch is over.
You do not have a N problem at this time.
There is confusion on what some members think is an N problem.
N fade does not start in the location that is yellowing on your plant.

Maybe, I just think PH'ing soil to 6.3 is a mistake.
If you are using drops you might sometimes be PH'ing below 6.

The SeaBlast Transition feed that I'm using includes Nitrogen. It's specifically formulated to "transition" your plants from veg to bloom and taper them off of the high N doses.

I used to double check with liquid drops and a meter. I was always shocked at how accurate the drops actually are. When you get into the low 6's you'll be looking at yellow liquid.

That looks like light bleaching.

If I could find a reliable source that stated 6.3 was "bad" for soil I would be thrilled! I'm not saying it's better than 6.5, but I think it's negligible. If you have sources dying otherwise share them bro! Please

There is new growth below the canopy that is developing the same yellowing in the new growth.

Light bleaching is totally possible with LED. Maybe not the older style "blurples" but the new wave of samsung Diodes really crank.

Like I said maybe 6.3 is OK for you. I don't PH my water. If I did I would go higher than 6.3.

Yeah it looks similar to what mine have done when they stretch too high into the danger zone of the DE

6.5 - 6.8 is a good range IMO.
If you google ph chart for soil there will be a bunch of charts, some will show slightly different ranges.

yeah they still need at least small amounts of nitrogen transitioning and it helps throughout flower. I use at least 2ml/gal of Grow until week 4-5 flower. Works great for me..every strain is different though. Happy growing
