Need Help!! Thought was Root rot, maybe not...

Newbie hydro grower here... got my 12 clones in my system for almost 2 weeks, great growth first 10 days then seemed to stall. Started getting some brown patches on mid level leaves of most plants and checked roots had some browning right below net pots. Figured out some light was getting through at net cups, rectified that...also figured out my res temp was a little high, rectified that. Found out about hydroguard thru the forum and have that coming tomorrow to add to system. My question is do I need to treat the roots of clones with H202, and then clean/refill my res and add hydroguard...or can I just clean/refill with the added hydroguard to remedy the situation.. I've never used the H202 before and dont want to if dont need to.. TIA

Couple of pics for reference.. have them in a NFT system I had previously built. Making a RDWC right now for future runs

roots dont look like root rot to me at all.

h2o2 can burn fine root hairs and dont recommend using it unless you really know what ratio to use.

You can add hydroguard to the rez straight away.
Suggest just using at half strength at first then lower it to a quarter strength just for maintenance in keeping the roots buffed up

Water temp I like 72 and that to me works very good....ph is very important and you should check daily ...or have a quality ph meter and visual check that daily

Ph drops are a great back up if you notice a big ph swing on your meter check with the drops before you add any up or down to make sure you meter didnt go whacky on you. or ph drops over strips are better to use imo as your main ph checker, or back up checker.

Ok my temps been about 78ish sometimes creeping higher as I'm having trouble with temp control being in the attic in the south... I have been keeping a keen eye on ph and ppms staying around 5.7ish and 700ppms..temp and humidity swings have been a problem, building out an insulated grow room up there with AC but I started my clones before room was done and fucked around too long before I had to move them up there..like I said before was doing fantastic growth wise for almost 2 weeks then bam just quit growing and leaves started spotting and have progressively gotten worse..
I pulled out a couple more plants and found some bugs in roots...got all kinds of problems I know lol..not sure what they are or how to proceed, thanks for reply20200922_184940.jpg20200922_190622.jpg

Ph crept up to 6.0 few days ago but had been pretty consistent around 5.7ish prior and since then, 5.8 today so maybe creeping back up but the meter i got is the $20 off Amazon so not sure how accurate it is, tho I did just calibrate it few days ago

Copy/pasting:
The nutrient value of Epsom salts is 0-0-0
Caclium Nitrate- It is made up of 15.5% Nitrogen and 19% Calcium
Cal mag is calcium magnesium

You are probably missing micronutrients and PK

High temps can cause issues and ph fluctuations. The crinkling on the edge of the leaves is from nitrogen being pulled out from heat.

Is masterblend a nutrient?

I am thinking the heat may be fluctuating ph, and locking you out of something, but I can't be certain. The nutrients seem strong, do you have a way to judge ppm?

From searching the main things I see that look like that are from pH fluctuations, as suggested by Bernie. Most likely from the heat. You may need to improve ventilation or a/c. The room is probably warming the pipes up and changing the ph.
