Today is week 3!

Hopefully I'm on par but either way I'm having fun. Upgraded by adding the sf1000 and started low stress training. Watering when dry with tap water non-ph'd and the box fan is sucking in fresh air through the mesh side.

Man its crazy how differently they can grow. This is my second biggest plant. Day 24 is today and here she is

But i have two ice bombs sprouted 2 days apart. And one looks like yours. The older by 2 days is 2x the other bombs size. They all grow different man its crazy to me lol20200922_124011.jpg

How weird! I keep trying to search around to see if my plant compares to others of the same age. I think i generally am but man your shrub there is great. I feel like I can't even top or train much because the nodes are so close.

I use FFOF soil and LEDs. And right now my veg tent is on 20/4 switching to 18/6 Friday.

Your plants can only absorb so much light before you're wasting light. I watch my plants after week 2 and see when they look tired. As of right now, after 20hrs they start drooping. And once the lights are off for ab 4hrs they're perked back up.

I slowly change light cycles each week prior to flower. So this week switch 18/6
Next week 16/8
Then I'll switch to 12/12

Everyone is different. Ive done 24/0 and its not as beneficial as 18/6 or 20/4 imo.

I honestly am so new to this forum that I didn't realize there was a grow journal area but this thread got more traction and I didn't want to multipost.

Anyway... How does it look? There's alot happening underneath but not much veritcal growth. Does it matter?

What lighting are you using what space are you working with etc give me the deets. Lol

i got a sour diesel seed i cant wait to grow, but wont be for a minute. definitely good soil, make sure not to overwater pick up the pot and get feel for it. watch the nutes and keep them trimmed up. learn to train. i like the training alot to see how you can manipulate the plant, its probably my favorite thing

I'll probably just stick here, I don't want to be that guy.

2x4 Vivosun tent
Spider Farmer sf1000 (~100w)
Philzon 600w (~100w)
~3gal buckets
Miracle Grow Organic soil + Vermiculite

Lights are on 18/6 right now and are approximately 18 inches from the plant. Watering when dry with non ph corrected tap water. Trying to LST a bit but she's so short and bushy it makes me worried.

@peperonia That's exciting! When I found mine I just threw it in a pot not expecting much. When it sprouted I bought some equipment lol. I'm excited to train but I feel my plant is too short and bushy yet.

i use to wai but once its about 3 or 4 so nodes i start training, better to start early since they are more flexible . once u start training the trunk becomes thicker and harder to bend. favorite thing i dontle this time was bend and twist

Okay setup is good. In my experience, MG works. BUT it works BETTER when mixed with FFOF. I only use FFOF now but I used to mix performance organics MG and FFOF.

How many weeks are you planning to veg? I usually start LST around week 3. Then veg 2-3 more weeks.

Make sure you top your plant when she hits 5-6 nodes back to the 4th node! I promise it will be beneficial!

Yeah, ill step up my medium game on my next grow. Honestly was hoping to veg just one month but were over half way done with week 4 and she isnt nearly as big as I was hoping. My hope is to go 12/12 when week 6 is done since I've read there's still lots of growth during flower. Then guessing 2 months of flower. I will definitely top soon!

Nice man. I'm in my experimental stage lol. I have a bagseed from my buddy, and i have topped it at least 5 times now. I've cut her all up and down. And here she is last night topped her in 2 more places after I took this pic. I have 2 ice bombs, 1 ive fim'd and pruned & LST the other is my GFs and she doesn't want me to do anything so she can see how they grow naturally. This is the best hobby ever lmao
