G13 Photoperiod First Grow

Hi, may I ask why you're doing such extreme defoliation with such small plants? What is it you're hoping to achieve by doing this? I feel like your plants haven't grown very much since the pics you posted on the 10/08/20 and it's been nearly 3 and half weeks now. Your plants should have grown much much more in that space of time and i feel like you're stunting their growth by defoliating them so much. I don't disagree with defoliating, just don't think you're using the technique correctly or at the right time.
You realize he’s mainlining?

I do mine a little different I leave some leaves.

Yeah, i know the Grower is Mainlining. I just thought more leaves should be left on in order to help with faster growth. I'm no Mainlining expert though so I could be wrong. It just looks from the pics that growth has been very slow over the last few weeks.

Leaves are a must for a plant. We have told OP many times. They don’t listen. Their plant is not growing because he’s stressing the shit out of that poor thing. He’ll prob get a hermie and his months of work gone to waste because he took no advice. My plants are day 38 in this pic from sprout. No reason yours shouldn’t look the same.

First off males are not the default human. Otherwise I appreciate all the input even the criticism and it may seem to go unnoticed but I’m reading and considering the relevance. Im learning and they are all in veg and I’m taking my time. I’m 100% not worried about when they will be ready. I’m learning my plant and how she responds. I want to grow her over and over and this will not be my a one and done strain to show off some buds like I’m swinging a dick. I can buy bud an any corner in Detroit. Also if you don’t know about mainlining sit down for a min

My plant in the right was mainlined.

Some fans were so big I couldn’t cut them. Even though I was supposed to in order to mainline. I couldn’t do it. The plant will grow realize it doesn’t need the leaf and pull out nutrients and discard the leaf.

so for god sakes leaf your plant alone

You for sure need to take a little advice. Don't ask for help and not listen. I get its your first grow, you're excited, and want to figure everything out on your own, but listening to experienced growers is whats going to really help you learn how to "tinker" with your plants. Mainlining is when you strip bottom nodes and pinch or top the top node, continuing this so the 2 becomes 4 becomes 8 etc. You do not need to strip the bottom leaves, only the bottom nodes. If you're defoliating for mold or light penetration, remove leaves so at most only 50% of the light is shining through and hitting the soil. If even then youre still scared of mold or fungus, get a stronger exhaust fan, or get one period if you dont! Leaves aren't there to only grab light, leaves also store the plant's energy, so essentially every leaf you pull off, you are also stealing energy from the plant. Look at all the open space in your pot not being taken up by any leafs! Thats all photometric energy being wasted! It seems your ph and feeding is back on track (as in no burns or deficiencies), so if you leave some more leaves on, I think it will recover fine. If I come back in 2 weeks to some more photos of a plant that should be on the Naked and Afraid season finale, Ive lost hope for you HAHA! Good luck! I hope for the best for you!

I didn’t ask for any advice when I posted my photo. I posted an update

Another update on my grow

(feel free to pass on commenting)

got the spacing I want on the base of the sixer.. Her leaves are big and bushy and come back with vengeance every time. The 8-er isn’t where I want her so maybe another week or two before I flower... will post again after the switch to update how G13 does079479A6-4F00-4937-8121-CED2F8C7C44F.jpeg

Looking better for sure, what’s the par output on the LED lights? Maybe raise them a couple inches to get some stretching. Other than that the plant on the right looks nice and healthy, the left plant is still small, but looking better than it did

Pic 1. Defóliated One inner reaching ginormous leaf on each branch of the sixer sept 10th.
Pic 2. Just now halfway through first week of flower 12:12 light schedule
