Question about trimming

Autoflower afghan kush. Very early flower and i was wondering can trim all the branches/leaves that arent making buds? Especially the ones way lower on the stalk? Because they’re is so many and its making everything difficult but i dont wanna kill my plant or slow growth please help

Even if a low branch is producing buds, if the buds aren’t getting good light through the top canopy, they’re not gonna do much. Removing those can focus the plant’s energy on the tops. Or just keep em and use the larf for edibles/hash

Okay bro thanks.. its my first time grow and im kinda worried.. seen some videos on pruning but i dont know dont wanna fuck up if i cut some off do i leave a little bit of the stem or just chop the stem off closest to the stalk

I would say clean them up a bit but I don't know about cutting whole branches off

If they won't make it to the top of the canopy Id say yea cut them off.

However do one every couple of days as to not over shock that plant. Its an auto. They can be stunted quickly by over doing it.

The lower branches yes, but all the leaves no, definitely not. Those are the solar panels that feed your plant, and would probably stunt its growth swiftly. After seeing your pictures, yes, cut those bottom branches off at the stalk Id go 4 fingers anyway, depending on the size...

You can also just pop off the bud sites that arent gonna produce. That will leave the leaves. Less stress this way as well. But small stalks that are trapped I would take the whole stalk off.
