Full spectrum or veg ?

So I have a “1000w” bloomspect LED. We’ll talk about that later. Didn’t want to spend too much first go. So onto a the real question. It has a Veg-Bloom-IR switch. I’ve been using the veg and following the manuals recommendations but it seems the plants are a little sluggish. I’ve lowered the light down to 18” above and turned on the bloom. It has all the lights on for the bloom setting so that would in terms be the “full spectrum” correct? So how should I approach this. Keep it in veg or keep it on the setting I have it on now. Also , is there any time I can use the IR?

Are you in bud or veg? Is there a switch that puts all 3 on? If you have to choose one, I would choose the veg if you are still vegging. If you can get all three, I would put all three on for the most light possible.

:blsmoke: I have little experience with LEDs though.

Oh hey and here I am in an LED forum.

How far away did you have the lights before? You might have been getting the slower growth just from being so far away. Light degrades fast by the foot.

It said as seedlings put them 26-30” away . Had it about in the middle. The bloom looks like it’s all of them together. Some LED like this one sometimes come with only one switch and the spectrum looks the same so I’d assume bloom is full spectrum? White red and blues are on. I lowered it to about 18”

If you notice the plants droop you may need to back them off, but it seems like that should be perfect. Do you know how many watts it is actually pulling from the wall?

Also today will be the first day on the “full spectrum” I switched it lastnight. They’re still veg. Actually haven’t even started Veg . They’re between the ages of 1-3 week seedlings . I have 3 almost ready for actual veg then three week old sprouts.
