Just had to try this auto thang......satisfy my curiosity. Tried auto GG4 and Cream.....Cream was the free throw in.
They grew very nice, bigger count than the meatbreath. Not a whole bunch of crystal compared to the Meatbreath but still respectable.
This was an indoor hydro grow.

I ordered a 10 pack of Tangerine dream auto from Growers Choice for the next round. I started them about 20 days ago. By started I mean the
soak, paper towel they want you to do for their guarantee.

Well.....

The GG4 and Cream have cured now and I've had an opportunity to really compare to my Meat breath.....
The result?.......Meh, theyre ok but.....Meh. I'll turn this into oil.

The Growers Choice?.......I'll never know, 1 seed out of 3 that popped was viable, thats out of 10 ordered. NEVER will I order from
them again......NEVER!. ( I didnt claim dick from them.....just wrote a nice fuck you message)

Just so you dont think I'm inexperienced.......my first commercial grow was in Vancouver during desert storm (yes, 1990, I was 30). We made an average of 3lbs a month every month for the next 5 years and for the last 20+ years I've grown for personal.

So..... Joe, I really wish I would of stuck to my photos.......better and like you said, cheaper on the light bill.

Yep. Autos have gotten a lot better over the last decade but they are still in the mid development stage where photos have pretty much been perfected. Autos definitely have their place outdoors in colder climates- right now a lot of people are wishing they could have harvested their photos a week or two ago and they have at least 2 more weeks before they are even close to ready. But indoors, stick to photos. I was amazed how good the plant i did 12/12 from seed did. But moving forward I will be doing a good 8-10 week veg.

There are no absolutes. I've encountered bad photo seeds and great auto seeds. I like what this guy has to say.

Yep........My wife had a bad sub (spoiled meat) at subway once...........she will never go back. If she
would never had the bad one she would still be a fan. It goes both ways. I think what I'm trying to say is
you have to hunt to get really good strains of autos and still chance it, or photos that that are proven for
taking. But to each his own....... still pissed about the seeds though.....:evil:

Either way, a mother is guaranteed to make genetically identical clones every time. Seeds is always a roll of the genetic dice. Considering you cant clone autos, you will be gambling every time you grow them.

The thread seems to be for growers who like autos and want to know how to get good seeds. If autos aren't for you there are plenty of threads about photos. I think Dinafem auto and Mephisto put out seeds that quite honestly beat the pants off a lot of photos. BTW, Mephisto's business problems are unrelated to autos as a viable entity. RQS Am Haze also beats the pants off their photo version. Tons of other examples too/.

If you want to evaluate a strain or a breeder, pop a 5 or a 10 pack of something and see what you get.

dude read the post again and then think about again if it was bitching about the company or very clearly explaining my own experience with them and the amount of plants i grew, reason why i might had caused those few seeds not to grow and so on..

the only fastbuds i got to grow till end was quality, but a bit small compared to many strains of other breeders. I have seen the same thing with other people on internet and also with some of their product pictures..

My ethos Plutos cut and OG kush autos are just about finished and so far look to be very high quality. Buds are large and very dense,,covered in frost and smell amazing. Grew 2 of each and they are near identical to their respective sisters. Seem very stable.

When I research a strain my main site is growdiaries.. There I can see what kind genetics it is , in the hands of ordinary people/growers..

Good idea united seedbank has some autos rochardbudinc I just ordered some iced gusher,I ordered some from Greybeard seeds he has runtz auto but it's taken a week to process my order, seedsupreme is alright experience seedsherenow has autos from good breeders I see mephisto avail all over just gotta look,and I've had pretty good experience with fastbuds for the most part I mean it a roll of the dice but if you do dwc autos your gonna usually pull a good yield with autos that's where it really pays off
