Help finding a medicinal strain for my wife

My wife was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre at a very young age. its a very rare disorder where your immune system attacks your nerves, she was paralyzed when she was little but she's recovered, but all of the symptoms never go away, some still linger like, tingling, tumblers, and a weakened immune system.

She also has a pseudo tumor of the brain, which is where your brain doesn't have a tumor but it thinks it does and makes too much fluid and puts pressure behind the eyes and onto the brain causing lots of issues, trouble seeing, severe migraines, weakness, fatigue, dissiness, anger, depression, trouble speaking sometimes and she has to be very careful about getting too hot when outside.

She can very well take care of her self and kids and take care of the house, its just the bad days where everything is so overwhelming its really hard for her to do anything.

But marijuana does help, greatly, and its definitely better than the medication they want her to take, she has tried 4 different kinds and also the imgality injection and they all just make everything so much worse, so she chooses to use Marijuana because it really alleviates most of her symptoms and helps her sleep. So I wanted to check and ask if there are any other patients like her or caregivers that know of any specific cannabis strains that will help or are really good for her symptoms so I can begin to grow it for her. Thank you all in advance

Being an older pothead, med school in late 60's, smoking my first doob on a beach, I long ago learned of the benefit of da herb...all kinds...as if back then ya didn't have much choice. Even so, it all worked to some extent and seemed we all gravitated toward "UP" weed....mostly.
20 yrs ago, I was dx'ed with MS that resembles GB in as much as it pretty much takes mobility away and maybe gives some back. What's left is the neurological damage along with realizing life has just changed. 10 yrs of infusions got me walking a little but caused many more problems. For 10 yrs now, I've only used cannabis.
All of us in this category treat about the same symptoms...spasms, unsteadiness, weakness, pain and the inner pain of knowing it's every day.
Growing my own and controlling quality has made a huge difference so now I know what is what.
I grow mostly hybrids in autos and photos and harvest according to which jar need re-supplied....UP>>>KEEP GOING>>>BEDTIME. Which I keep filled by selective harvest. Most hybrids will supply all three if harvested at the right time and that's what I do.
Now I treat MS, rheumatoid arthritis, and aftercare of cancer surgery and still take no pain meds whatsoever. Only selected cannabis.
First jar injects wd40 into my stiff joints and gets me off the couch, next jar gets my energy level up and makes every day interesting (that's the main part) then the last jar is to knock my old ass out.
So...my suggestion is to look into harvesting techniques to help your wife. Best wishes brother.

Hi Soliyah,
I've had a dural leak for over 3 years, it occurred during a spinal fusion (now failed surgery) and I am now having tests for arachnoiditis which resembles GB & MS. In feb this year I had to quit my job as teuck driver / boilermaker becaus eof tje spasms. I have seen a new neuro amd have nerve tests mri c.t etc within next two weeks. Pre surgery I experuenced paralysis but now have ongoing fuckedness due to pharma, specifially Lyrica. Ive been growing my own for a while post surgery, both sativa & indica. I quit smoking so only use oils now from my own herb and am functioning mostly well, and totally off all pharma. I do still have my bad days but finding the right dosage is so important. I prefer to over do my dosage than under. I am awaiting the arrival of cream and cheese for its CBD. I empathise completely. It is frustrating, a curse. I wish you all the very best in this journey.

I grow for my wife as well and I've found auto flowers to be a good choice for medicinal as you can grow a variety of strains. We had to do a lot of trial and error to come up with strains that work best for her particular needs and time of day even. Blueberry and blue X's seem to always perform well for her and some CBD's. I almost always have a Dinafem OG Kush CBD auto (8% THC, 15% cbd) growing for her as it's one of her fav's for dealing with multiple issues (including girl issues).

When choosing an autoflower breeder make sure to chose one that's been doing auto's for a long time. It takes years of breeding auto's to get them down.
Dinafem, Dutch passion, Mephisto, and Fastbuds are my personal top choices.

Almost died in 2014 from Flesh Eating Disease, or Necrotizing Fasciitis as some people see it.. any strain that is high in CBD makes the pain feel completely manageable for me.
I personally grow Cannatonic and Temple.. 2 different Canadian breeders but fantastic strains..

I love how so many here are growing for their wives and loved ones. I too am in that category and it really hits me in an inspirational and loving way almost every day. I truly hope you all continue to reap the benefits of this beautiful plant and all it does for our loved ones and what it does for us growers. ❤

Read so many say Memphisto is tops for Autos. But I haven't grown autos. I second that Blueberry has CBD in addition to Thc. I only have mild pain issues and depression. I'm still searching for what's best. Think CBD could be good for her nerve and headache issues? You can always mix stuff, I mean I don't see why not. I liked Candida for cbd which is supposed to be 20:1 cbd. That's personally but everyone's different. But it's not an auto. I make a lot of edibles but it takes practice to deal with the delay. Some people indicate certain pure sativa's increase their pain. I haven't noticed that yet. But Sativas are no autos. Saw a Lebanese that's all CBD. Should be a quicker indica.

I really appreciate your advice, I used to work with a guy who was a truck driver and Boilermaker, named Danny from Tennessee, was a good dude.

Thank you for your advice, I also didn't know that sativas have been said to increase pain

i hsave a 2-1 cbd thc hindu kush x kush from sensi seeds going on. and i have some bagseed from 30% cbd strains, bublegum and amnesia haze.
but the 2 to 1 ratio seems to hold plenty of good medical mj

Thank you for your advice, its probably been the best of all, thank you so much, and for sharing your story and what helps, she has since had her brain surgery and the headaches have subsided greatly, she hasn't had to take any headache medication since, but there are still other symptoms we have to work through and with your advice hopefully it will make it easier, thank you
