No this is just a Farm XL aergarden, I am a little new to this but I believe that means it is not DWC. I thought everyone recommends not feeding until at least two weeks in?Look hungry
DWC you start asap with1/4 strength nutes
Is it DWC?
i use something very similar to that. i use rapid rooters and mine runs 24/7. the rapid rooters are always soaking wet. never had an issueSo i had an idea. As was unable to find someone using an aerogarden who had the same issues. However whenever someone had this issue in soil it normally seemed to be due to over watering. Now I understand it is very hard to over water using a drip system like an aerogarden has, however I still had my pump settings turned on very low, 5 mins on and 2 hours off. Therefore I don' believe the roots were getting enough oxygen, similar to what happens when you over water. I just changed my pump settings to 60 mins on and 30 mins off. We will see if my theory is correct.
Please tell me if I am an idiot or if maybe I am on to something.
Thanks
You have your aerogarden pump running 24/7? Is that right from the moment you plant the germinated seed?i use something very similar to that. i use rapid rooters and mine runs 24/7. the rapid rooters are always soaking wet. never had an issue
mine runs 24/7. i germinate the seeds in the rapid rooter plugs in the aero unit. You have your aerogarden pump running 24/7? Is that right from the moment you plant the germinated seed?
Interesting, whenever I have tried to germinate directly in the aerogarden the pump seems to over-saturate the AG grow sponges, ends up drowning the seed.mine runs 24/7. i germinate the seeds in the rapid rooter plugs in the aero unit.
so my device is called a Prepara power plant. similar theory to the AG. but instead of the sponge that comes with it, Rapid Rooters fit perfectly in the holes. i've been using it to start seeds for many years and i have a really great success rate wiht it.Interesting, whenever I have tried to germinate directly in the aerogarden the pump seems to over-saturate the AG grow sponges, ends up drowning the seed.
LOL.Seedlings can start with full strength nutes 2.0
them seedlings the smallest on top left one had a broken stem propped with black sticks others hand shucked. Were started @ 2.0 after 15 days they ended up like that.LOL.
just saying what works for you doesn't work for everybody. i don't feed higher EVER than 0.8 and that's with 0.2 well water= 0.6 net.them seedlings the smallest on top left one had a broken stem propped with black sticks others hand shucked. Were started @ 2.0 after 15 days they ended up like that.
When I write something I have evidence to back it up. Not into posting BS. If I get something wrong will hold my hands up only come here to help people out
the power is in the flow
Thank you
still bad advice. i can't feed 2EC to 5 ft tall plants. let alone a seedling.Any active system bubblers/aeroponics can start as seedling as long as it has its first set of real leaves
i did that on my first plant. if you use Lucas formula, it says you can run 8/16 from seedling to harvest. that gives about EC of 2 which almost melted my leaves. killed the shit out of her in a day. lesson learned (the hard way lol)I stay at ec of 1 to 1.1 and if i gave 2.0 they would be fucked
