How do you trim? And how long does it take you?

EDIT: No judgement just curious. I've experimented with it in the past and was actually surprised at the quality. Although its much harder and can become brown or bleached if hit by the sun, But tobacco curing (a crazy process which I dont envy at all... imagine having to cure for years before smoking our harvests...) But they've got the biggest amount of research and resources on leaf/plant curing from hundreds of years of tobacco and cigar leaf curing, I believe they've found that the sun imparts some very unique flavors depending on whats left inside the leaves during harvest. Also, age and humidity... They also do heat curing which can blikee interesting as well.

Id be interested to know some other curing methods that are still long slow processes but just not jars in the dark at XX°F/XX%

And I'm just free-ballin' here, letting the rain fall, bathing my plants, got a feeling I will be dealing with a bit of bud rot. I will remove as much as I can see, but then, what do I spray with, peroxide? Or baking soda? What's the peroxide mix? Hope this rain lets up soon though.

Just lost the top 4 feet off my gorilla glue (p3) as well as a couple major colas on the OG Kush...

Im about 2-3 weeks from where I want to be, but it is what it is... The rest are staying up as long as I dont lose any more today.

The branches were brought into the house less than an hour ago and I can already smell them upstairs on the other end of the house.. (no carbon filter in dry room)

Looks like its going to be one of those days for me.:cuss:

Yep I lost another few limbs that I can see probably more damage I can’t see yet.
You know I thought this morning of what you said earlier in season that you start off expecting nothing so you aren’t disappointed when you do t get what you want. I think that was you.

Yup, best way Ive found to look at it... Helps alot with things like this... But especially the patience to let them finish..
If you're counting your chickens/eggs before they hatch so to speak(however that saying goes...), you'll be wanting to smoke those by the 3rd week of flower lol..

It's a great machine, it really is ... a friend has the older model that I tried a while back, I think it's the 1st gen ... it felt like it had a bulkier casing and was a bit more difficult getting around some of the tighter spots... I have the 3rd gen and it's definitely more compact and way easier to work with ... i've only used it to trim up maybe 5 or 6 ounces of indoor so far, but that only took about 20 mins ... it does take a few minutes to get the hang of, but once you get going you're flying ... the only downside is that it can be more difficult around the small popcorn stuff, but I don't really mess with that stuff anyway, just throw it all in the hash pile ... and the price too, that's obviously a downside, but they offer 10% off so it ends up costing about just under $300 shipped ... but I'd say it's definitely worth it if you're trimming more than a pound

I got one too... love it... makes the curing process better, too, once most of the leaf and pistils are shaved off... then use the catch for hash...

Okay great thanks for the review, I’m thinking of giving all my small shit to a hush friend as well, and even if I don’t, the time savings on the other 70% of it would be worth it.

I think I’m probably gonna do it

Hey matty, I was starting to dig through this thread and the other one shes referring to.. Im really interested to try this out as well.. I've never smoked any fermented bud, have you? Have there been any tests done on it that you know of?

I was thinking of trying the way she describes at first, But I was checking out the replies and this person mentions another users method of using just rubbermaid containers and it seems like an easier starting point to see how it comes out. Heres the post Im referring too.

I guess theres an archive of the original post on icmag where they we're trying to figure this out and it was up to 250+ pages early 2018 Ill take a look for it in a little bit, but thought you might want to go this route as well if you're just experimenting with it.
