Light opinion

Hi guys
What's your opinion on the e150 copper full spectrum cob LED
Thanks in advance
It's a 50 watt light that they claim is good for 2 to 3 plants. While I cannot say from personal experience with the product I find their claim unlikely.

A single plant can be grown quite well with some simple screw in house hold leds bulbs with the globes removed. Personally I wouldn't invest much money in a single plant set up.

Here is a example of house hold bulbs from Terpene on Icmag, there is a big thread on using sils with tons of information, just google: "Off the shelf retail store screw-in LED and CFL bulb comparisons"

That's your budget to grow one plant, that's awesome. Are you planning on expanding beyond one plant as that is a pretty big amount to spend for 1 plant.
I bought 3 seeds and made like a space tote with inlet and outlet fans for a stealth grow so basically growing one by one for now

Jesus. Party time at your house. What’s the space you are trying to light up?
You plan on growing in a tent? With that money you could convert a room and use HPS.
lol I think ya'll should ask what currency and location this is. Judging by that light in the OP, it does not look sold outside of South Africa? 1500-2000 south african rands is only about $90 to $120USD. OP correct me if Im wrong but based on the post history of the OPs first grow, $1,500 USD is probably not their budget.

Maybe the OP should clear that up with us?

Most of the plants I've grown indoors usually fill a 2ft x 2ft footprint, so I'd suggest at least 120 watts of good diodes or 200 watts of blurples or HID lighting.

Our south africa light guy is @ANC he does diy fixtures and should be able to hook you up with something. His company or yourubte is lion lighting or something similar. If youre tote growing top lighting is moot, if your tote is atleast 2 feet tall then you can sidelight with 2 foot strips, samsungs is the flavor of the day. Is recommend covering the the strips with some kind of plastic for protection and diffused lighting

Tote growing is not ideal, id be surprised if you can actually get enough, in short enough time, for restocking the supply of someone who smokes enough to wanna grow himself. Autos, or 12-12 from the start would be the way forwards. Mainly ive seen tote growing for making tests with different conditions and genetics. Id really like to see the build when and if it materializes.

This kind of cob gives point lighting, quite intense and if not dimmable it could be not quite suitable for a tote. Multiple led bulbs might be betrer
