First week of flowering what should I do

I just flipped it over on sunday so it’s still less than a week into flower but I’m just wondering if I should tie down some of these branches or strip some of the leaves off? I cleaned it up the day I flipped it but I feel like it already needs some love. Any suggestions help. Thanks in advance

Let her be! You can pull some branches down with some string. I use hemp string. But you can really use whatever! Don’t defoliate

Remember, you can always let her be! Training should be done before flower so you don’t have to do it during flower. Check out my plant, I trained her and put a trellis up before switching the lights. Once buds start forming that’s it, plant won’t be touched until harvest! Besides selective leaf removal, blocking prime bud sites and the occasional sniff of a bud lol. In the pic you can see the network of branches that I pulled down over time. 6F8AFCC7-23F4-419C-9CF0-6C0124678001.jpegA384AB19-4953-4D7A-8ED0-110EBF16A4A1.jpeg

yes, I did do a slight defoliation if the lower leaves that weren’t getting good lighting and were kind of crammed together

She’s looking great! I did some mild training during veg and I wasn’t planning on really messing with it, I’m just getting nervous because it’s getting so thick lol

Sounds good! Best thing you can do, it’ll stretch 2-3 times it’s side, or it might only stretch a few inches. But leave it and keep us posted on how it turns out!
Yeah I agree, since she’s been flipped it’s already grown around 4 inches and I’m more than pleased with that. I definitely will! And I appreciate your input

I'd suggest some selective lollipop work, but only if you are confident. If not, it'll still live and do well. Only one plant, right?

I have some Mental Floss crosses that are about a week ahead of yours.
Yeah this is my first real attempt at growing so I wouldn’t say I’m confident lol I don’t want to stress her out so I’ll just leave her be. Yeah I’m just trying to focus on getting a solid grow down before I start testing my luck with multiple plants lol Nice!! How are the coming along?
