I only consider myself 'left' because 'the right' planted it's flag in anti-human equality (mainly gay rights/women's rights/immigration) and allowing dogma into education where is the last place it belongs (unless someone wants to go get a religion degree anyways).

Perhaps now is not the time for such a nuanced discussion of social issues, the current fight is not between the right and the left, it is between fascism and liberal democracy. Trump is running against the US constitution, not the left, but against the ethos of America. A more perfect union or any form of justice, social or otherwise is not possible under rule by the iron whim of Trump, it would be dystopia. They call them sociopaths for a reason, they fuck up any social situation, large or small.

By 'infringing' what do you mean? I don't see how say taking a statue down is 'infringing' on your rights for example. Nor telling people that saying racist shit is 'racist' is that either.
I'd like to write a book on cancel culture but I'm supposed to be working lol. It boils down to labelling people as enemies because they made an insensitive comment, sometimes decades ago. So now we are supposed to shame them forever, no room for forgiveness. This guys explains exactly what it means to be a "cancel culture" person. It's insane to think that so many world elites are tied to child trafficking through Jeff Epstein, but we would rather give more attention and shame a comedian on an offensive joke.
