Right I’ve spent all night at it
plants have been well and truly soaked
I fed them root excelurator cal mag and canna a and b
E.C was level 1
And ph was 6.0
a quarter of the plants run off after a heavy feed was
E.C 0.8 with a ph of 6.0
and the majority of them which I found shocking was
E.C 2.4/2.6 with a ph of 6.5
I then flushed these plants with my feed till they got back down to E.C 1.0 it took quite a lot of feed to do this, but on These plants with the high ec and higher ph, after the flush with the food the ph stayed high at around 6.4
any info on these results would be great.... thanks my back is now broke lol
Give them a bit time and they'll be fine there not to far gone.Right I’ve spent all night at it

But he's growing in coco and even fully saturated coco allows enough oxygen in the root zone that you shouldn't be able to overwater itU can always over water . Too many factors r/h etc... its not always guaranteed infact are these plants the outlier s of the garden? Maybe its not warm enough .. they are gettinf over watered because they dont get light and heat like plants closer to the led ?
That's also my findings, my plants get soaked twice a day I've never seen any signs of so called over watering, idk if it's even possible with coco, saturated coco still has around 35% airspace. But he's growing in coco and even fully saturated coco allows enough oxygen in the root zone that you shouldn't be able to overwater it
I think maybe the problems I’ve had in the past, besides not checking my run off lol is maybe putting them in to big pots before the roots have grown enough and maybe that’s how they have got over watered. Small roots sat Above soaking wet coco Maybe did itBut he's growing in coco and even fully saturated coco allows enough oxygen in the root zone that you shouldn't be able to overwater it
the plants with the problem are dotted about so it’s not just the out side of the tent. Room hasn’t gone below 20 or above 23 and rh is around 55/65% but maybe my humidifier and fan blew some mist into a few of them a fewdays ago and they got wetter than the rest. But everything even now and all flushed with feed with the run off measuring the same ec as the feed. So fingers crossed they come back over the next couple of days!U can always over water . do u think I should give them another feed 24 hours later? They are still soakedIdk if over watering applies to coco I've never had a problem with soaking coco regardless of age, don't worry about it, I'd go as far as say another grandma's myth?
If the pot has still has a reasonable weight to it then leave it, if it's feeling light then yes I would give it another soaking.do u think I should give them another feed 24 hours later? They are still soaked
ok mate thanks, il post pics laterIf the pot has still has a reasonable weight to it then leave it, if it's feeling light then yes I would give it another soaking.
Just to be clear post #44 wasn't directed at you.
Yes. Coco should be fertigated at least once daily. You'll notice they require less feed to get them to runoff now that the coco is moist. Feed to runoff and you're good.do u think I should give them another feed 24 hours later? They are still soaked
il look into it thanksThe few times i thought i was over wattering, and I wasnt. I realized my temps were too low and rh too high.
But then every plant would look like that. Well . Unless from seed, where some genetics might favor cold...
Coco will water log in cooler temps ...
Idk where people got this cant over water coco...
i mean its been years since i used coconand maybe its more airy now??
the older stuff i had issues with and i tried botanicare and general.
Better luck with gh coco by far in a test..
back then I think coco still logged salts despite the claim they were leached...
proves gh, knew how to leach cocobeter..
also imho proves you should always have some nice florakleen laying around...
infact man anytime i had any issue i would florakleen flush or just water flush ..
Maybe just chalk it up to a fluke...
good luck man.
Take your pictures and exam the plants under natural light. Even the full spectrum white lights don't show the plants in their natural colors. They are small enough, if you think you have an issue with a plant, remove it from the tent and take a picture of it.2 days since the run off check with the flush with the light feed and I feel the plants have bounced back and grown. Only thing is that some of the leaves at the top look very light green. Can’t see it very well in the pictures
It looks like fresh new growth to me, I can't see anything concerning it looks fine but am viewing with a mobile.

I’ve been giving them a full run off each feed, on my e.c stick it was flashing 1.2 with calmag Cana a&b and root exceluratorI can tell by the top of the coco that you didn't feed properly because part of the coco is still dry........it looks like you only watered around the plant and didn't saturate the coco. The feeding probably ran straight through the coco and ran out the bottom without saturation.
By the way......one of your plants is showing pistils.
Coco basics:
Feed every day to substantial run off with a pH around 6.0.
Never plain water.
Never let the coco dry.

Good luck.
