Hello everyone. I found a "recipe" on YT for "Master Marks" medium from the guy who owns Boogje Brew (I like their products btw) They basically suggest starting with Happy Frog, and mixing more and more Ocean Forest as you transplant.
In the final mix before entering the flower phase, the recipe calls for 20% HydroCorn, 20% Super Char, 20% Worm Gold Plus, 20% Ocean Forest. I also used 20 rice hulls. Then to use Pride Lands, and Neem Seed meal as directed along with foliar sprays of Age Old Kelp. They said all I would have to do is water and compost tea, and the mix would media would be strong enough to last the plant until the final potting. That worked until around week 2 of veg (so 5 weeks from seed). I started seeing nitrogen deficiency. I made a compost tea from Neem Seed meal and the plants bounced back great. (So sorry this is long) Everything was good. My PPM stayed around 6 to 800. Then, when I went to put them in the final pot and watered, the PpM shot up to 4600! So I flushed with ph R/O until I got them down to 1k across the board. So now as I'm waiting for them to dry out, they seem to have zinc deficiency?
I have no ideal what to do from here. I watched them closely and they are definitely getting worse by the day. Its been 2 days since I flushed them. They are in 5 gal pots so I assume they won't need to be waterd for a few more days.

Oh good grief. Just get a bag of decent soil and call it a day. Treat it like any other plant and let it grow. youtube is the absolute worst place to get cannabis growing information.

You've created a Frankenstein soil

Sooooooooo

Gunna be hard to fix anything. Maybe watch that VIDEO a few more times
Yea in hindsight, I DEFINITELY picked the wrong model to start with. The media has been great in regards to drainage but the feeding reccomendation was off. Live and learn I guess

Not a bad effort I’d get some new soil and repot them. Take it easy with the nutes less is more it’s very easy to over feed and burn them.

Good luck

I appreciate the kind words. That also may be best. I have plenty of soil on deck and they are in 5 gal, I could put them up to 7 gal. They would have been switched to flower in 2 weeks (they would have been 8 weeks into veg by then), but I can keep them in veg for much longer I think if I just keep up the LST. My tent is only 6 ft, but Ive managed to keep them pretty short and bushy this far. Not to mention they are White Widow and Wedding Cake which from what I've read aren't extremely tall plants anyway.
