How many strips are you planning on powering with the 320?
I'm not sure what would you suggest? I got plenty .. wanted some side lighting as well. I have a fairly small room with not alot of hight..How many strips are you planning on powering with the 320?

Appreciate it. Poor folks got poor ways my friend.Nice touch with the cigar box man
What do you have the leds mounted too mate? You got heatsinks or aluminium L section? My Samsung Influx build in action.
8x Influx 3000k strips
HLG 320H-48B
Homemade cigar box PDM
Running at 200w in my 48"x24"x30" in my little micro grow, the top of the lights are barely even warm to the touch, cab runs about 2 degrees warmer than ambient with 4" exhaust and a forced intake.

They're just thin aluminum trays meant to convert florescent light trophers to led. They originally held 2 strips, but I drilled holes to mount an additional 2 strips to each, then I used heat transfer tape and mounted the additional strips. I also mounted them on the opposite side so I could hang them higher in my cabinet. What do you have the leds mounted too mate? You got heatsinks or aluminium L section?
I love the meter! Where did you get that?My Samsung Influx build in action.

I could definitely run them at full power which would be like 800ma with this driver, but it's been too hot here for that. At 200 watts I'm only pushing like 550ish MA and the top of the fixture is just barely warm to the touch. Cab runs around 2 degrees over ambient this way, I'll push then more when I get AC in my garage.@Slobberhose Nice build, I am really curious how hard you can run those strips mounted to a plate like that. Do you have any data you could share yet?
Have been busy with life and realized I havent posted an update in awhile. Here's the same 5 plants I shared earlier in the thread grown under F strips, they are a few weeks into flower now running the light around 300 watts.

I always get random little plants growing in my pots, but this one is something special. It actually started to produce flowers as I changed the schedule to 12/12. I assume that some random seeds get mixed up in kelp meal or alfalfa that I use.

Those look like https://www.heatsinkusa.com/2-079-low-stock-please-call/Would craigmk be willing to share where the very smart looking heatsinks can be bought. Was it US&A or closer to Uk.
Dont dis the u-ey, they are generally really good. The latest strips on channel we built was 2mm 40x40mm u-channel, cuts of 1300mm. We had that running on 120w in our highest wattage test and it was definitely hot too touch, but that was sort of the point. Our space gets real cold in the winter and we want to conserve some heat from the sinks for heating. With a bit of air movement it would be in allright range. Current running about 25w each and obviously stone cold.Hi guys. Long time lurker. New to the hobby and have recently bought some cheap Samsung f-strips and influx L09 led boards. Could not resist the last price drop. Ridiculous price drop. Would craigmk be willing to share where the very smart looking heatsinks can be bought. Was it US&A or closer to Uk.
Apologies for asking but they do look really good and much better than u channel.
