Possibly OVERKILL but what’re your THOUGHTS ???

I’m growing in a 2.5x2.5x60 tent.

lighting: Mars Hydro TSW2000
distance: 18” from top canopy
power: dimmed down from 305w to 250w

Growing 2 Pineapple Express autos and 1 sour kush auto from growers choice. All 3 are super pungent and covered in tricomes. My question is.... I know the light is overkill but am I good with the height and dimmed power??

what’s best, HIGH and FULL POWER or LOW light and DIMMED POWER?

as far as PPFD coverage and yield, lower PPFD less intense, better quality??Or raise up to 24” and put on full power, what are your thoughts??
They’re on day 73 from sprout. Around week 4-5 in flower for each of them. THANK YOU!!!!

They’re still doing really well, I didn’t get that tip burn until 3 weeks ago. I’m still seeing how much I can push them. I wouldn’t say they’re “burnt to crap” or they wouldn’t be as dense and producing like they are. Thanks though bud

i use a different brand LED....but it is 300 true watts with a dimmer, so similar in those ways.

i have my light 48" above the soil 100% power from seed. currently, my tops are 12" at the closest and 18" at the furthest, roughly.

my best results have been from this method.

raising/lowering lights all the time and messing with light intensity is just another thing to complicate the grow without getting any better results, imo. others may get better results than i did tho

I’m running the same size tent as you for a plant (2 plants but 1 is taking over the entire tent)
I have a sf-1000 & a meijiu 240
340 watts total.
Running the sf full power
Running the meijiu between 60-70%
Probably using around 225-250 watts total.
16-18 inches away as of now.
If I run the meijiu @ 100% I hit DLI too fast. Never any burn tho. I push her pretty hard actually.

What does your temp and RH meter say?

my day temps are 78-83 and night tjme falls between 65-70. Rh% is consistently 40-48

My question was more about my light setup. I had a bad ppm pen and burnt them one week but they’re recovered and doing fine. I never tweak my light height, just dim. Wanted thoughts on mars hydro tsw2000 in a 2.5x2.5
