You ain’t lyin! I’m now tempted to pull all of my TNR because 1). It’s technically mature enough and 2). I found rot in a nice cola which pissed me off.
Thank god I'm not alone in this dinghy barely afloat out here.!!! That's the toss up, do I wait and lose 50% or MORE of my harvest? Or do I chop a week or two early and save a lot of nice colas? Some are reached than others, some I'd really love to see go ten more days, but if that results in mush, well 50% of nothing is nothing.
Think I'm gonna end up doing this, since we are headed for more RAIN I think I will take the most advanced buds off, and let them.cure. looks like maybe two days of sun and clouds, with a little fog, but I think the next rain is really gonna put the smash down on the crop.
Ill. Be cloning a couple of the best and most resistant to try and keep over the winter. I think next year I'm gonna go with LSD and MOB and see.if I get any seed at all from the best of my plants. Also next year, maybe auto flower.I think the damage that's out there right now is a LOT more than j can see, that scares me, but I also think taking the biggest colas off where the rot is most likely to thrive is the answer for me now.
Use it or lose it time. Next year things will be different.
I swear.

We'll IF you make you money trading stocks, there goes the integrity. There's more integrity selling pot than trading stocks.
Care to explain your reasoning behind this? What about any of the millions of americans who put money into their 401ks? Are they giving up integrity as well?

Thanks for your opinion on what you think I do for money based on two sentences, But, you dont have a clue so carry on, I'm not looking to argue with anyone today.

Because people who put their money in the market are investing. You sound like you're day trading, which adds nothing to society.

Some of limbs that broke during storm. Basement is 66F 60H so just put a humidifier on low to bring humidity up a tad to slow the dry down.

Nice, same thing going on over here, RH is low at 58-60 when I checked this AM, had to start the humidifier up.
What are you guys aiming at for rh? I heard from a great local grower that 60/60 will do ya. I’m reading a lot online tho that says start at 50 for a few days then gradually increase humidity. I’m worried if I can even get my humidity that low with an ac and a dehumidifier simultaneously. Since my ac only goes down to 64 F, I’ll prob set it for 64-66 and rh 60-65

Yeah I aim for 60/60 but I had that top few feet break, as well as a harvested plant a day later, and if the others were to finish quick then I would have to overflow to a different room to dry in, But in general Id love to have 60%RH/60F temps but noticed it usually drops lower so I have to aim higher.

Weathers been beautiful and the house is dry right now, Not only do I have a small humidifier going I got a hot plate and slow cooker boiling water off into steam every couple hours...and wet sheets and towels drying in the same room... Last two days its been down to 50's RH then ill come back and bump it back up with the steam....it drops, etc. My humidifier cant keep up with the size room it seems, and my dehu's sitting there unused. Hoping it will stabilize soon... But my point is.... I consider 58-60 "low" because of this, and aim higher than I normally would if I had things all sealed up and together... Which I should have at this point, but oh well.. Hopefully no more unplanned branches will come down in the next 2 weeks and Ill get it together, :wall:

Who cares what anyone here does to make a living.
He was just talking about integrity and insinuating that those who sell weed have no integrity. At least you're providing a service to someone, meanwhile he's day trading providing nothing for society except to enrich himself and somehow see's that as integrity.

What is your final humidity when you stop the cure? I was looking at 58 to 62% before vacuum sealing.

Tough to say, I do most by feel so it depends, may change on a nug by nug basis depending on how dry it feels and how much moisture I think is left in there. I usually just use the hygrometers to stay closest to 60/60 in my dry room, and have a timer that goes off every 3-4 hours sometimes less where Ill go in, check and adjust humidity and check the buds by feel.

Sorry cant really let ya know a number I go by, because I dont.
I always was fascinated by the plant growing up when learning to grow as well... and was dead broke, putting zero money into grows so no hygrometers, ph pens, tents, humi/dehu, etc. anything really....I kind of learned a lot by feel and guessing/making mistakes just staring at the plants for hours day after day watching all the tiny changes... which I guess really helped in the long run and now grow organic pot I love for family friends and myself and do it all very cheap and with hardly maintenance or feeding after the initial preseason preparation of the soil and pots.

Ive had pretty good results just getting my nugs dryroom rh close to 60%, while I think there is a cutoff to curing RH% I think if you get close enough to it, while trying to avoid your rh dropping too low more so than having it get too high would be better imo, within reason of course.
fyi my dry room is not sealed and wasnt prepped in time for decent drying, even with that Im not too worried about it being +/- a bit so I wouldnt stress too much about it. To each their own though.

Id say those look like a week or two weeks and you could start chopping if you wanted to, Your just getting into that harvest window imo. This would be the earlier stage, You could take some smaller ones now, and see how they dry out over the next week to get an idea of what to expect.

As for advice? Log off, go inside the house, close the blinds, and find something to occupy your mind/time other than weed related things until next week.. Lol. Nice job, good luck. Cant wait to see the finished pics. Enjoy it.
