5x5x7 room help

Hey guys I currently have a 5x5x7 tall grow room and I’m currently using 5 different random/ cheap led lights in, Ive only had 2 grows in there. And am doing ok but I have the opportunity to get a 600w hps and a 400 w hps set ups for 150$Would it be enough light ? . I was going to upgrade the leds slowly but was wondering your thoughts on the hps , I do have a 3x3 veg tent as well so it would only be for flower

If heat won't be an issue that's an easy, inexpensive way to upgrade your grow. They're not selling you 2 lights ... looks like a fixture with 2 bulbs. If you get the 600w and hang 4 of the leds around it you should have a good, inexpensive lighting solution
Just a suggestion ... based on the photo is looks like you have some sort of foil reflector on the walls. Either pull the foil and paint the walls a flat bright white (I think Benjamin Moore has the best one) of get some diamond foil ... like what they line grow tents with.

Hey I msgd the seller and in fact it is 2 complete set ups. So I’d have 400 and 600w. But yes that’s what I was worried about. Is the heat. I have no experience with hps at all so any help is appreciated

Do you know what temps you existing lights keep the tent summer / winter? If your lighting is going to make you spend an additional $300-$400 for A/C, then it's not a bargain. for a 5x5 you may want to consider a ducted 1000w hps or an led solution ... but those can both run into more than you want to spend

I would recommend 2x CMH 315 + 2x quantum board 240 watt for your space. I combine CMH and quantum to get 1.2g/watt or 800g/sqm.
