First grow.
Coco/perlite.
6 weeks since flip.
Hydro, 75% a+b, 25% calmag, min rec dose pk boost(EC 1.4 pH 5.8 ).
Runoff about 0.25-0.35 higher EC but same pH.

Not sure about this one it is my first grow and never seen it before. Seems like the veins got a more pink/red colour. Yellowing starts from center and sometimes it doesn't yellow all over but just a few fingers. A brown patch on the thin part that choked everything passed that point. I don't know just trying make sense and understand why it's happening.

ph should be about 6.2

needs mag not cal mag

no pics or info to go on...I suggest ride it out to the chop without doing much.

How close are your lights, what are the temp fluctuations in your grow room?

I run 5.7 myself but I’ve always learned from the pros that they shoot for 5.5 - 5.7 for optimal coco zone.
I don't watch youtube vids. I grow based on what is recommended for hydroponics/coco/soil by those with degrees in plant science. For hydro/coco that is typically 5.5 - 6.5 with many stating a range of 5.8 - 6.2. I run right in the middle. I have for over 20 years and never experience any nutrient issues. I don't use calmag either growing in coco. Never any issues.

I add 25% calmag because of the exchange in coco ppl talk about.
My nutrient is made for soft water so should have enough cal and mag from before, am I just wasting money while maybe damaging my plants(less productive would be damage)?

If less is more I'll gladly do less! :D

If your fert has cal and mag in it, I'd go with less or nothing extra unless you're sure you need it. You have dark green leaves with yellow/brown leaf tips, usually indicating over fert. Also, some strange yellow/brown in the middle of some leaves which kind of resembles heat damage, but not sure right now.

Seems like a calmag issue to me,
Magnesium to be more specific I say. I think she’s asking for it before the flowers ripen. What percentage of white hairs do you see
I've read the same thing, but thought it has to be something else because I give them calmag(25%) and soft water nutrients. Got epsom salt but never used it. Could they need even more?

Not sure about the hairs didn't really notice. Trichomes clear as far as my naked eye can tell.

I don't know what's in your nutrients so I'm not going to say to stop using the calmag. I use tap water and calcium nitrate as my primary nitrogen source which provides plenty of calcium. The micronutrient blend I use has adequate amounts of magnesium as well. But any decent hydro nutrient should supply both.

I see you're using a P/K boost. Too much potassium can lockout nitrogen, calcium, and magnesium. That's why I'm not a fan of additives because if used in excess they can cause issues. I run just base nutrients that supply everything the plant needs and have healthy plants from seed to harvest with none of the issues many growers have. Those issues usually show up mid to late flower and typically there isn't much that can be done at that point as the symptoms tend to get worse regardless of what's done.
