I'm trying an experiment atm with frequently feeding to see what effects it has on the run off ec?
My aim is to keep the ec around the sweetest spot possible with minimal ec fluctuations using the same amount of feed.
If it's kept damp then osmosis should level out any build up and getting frequent small amounts should keep it from rising as much? (my theory)
Yes I know I could just feed it but why not utilise an automated system and it keeps me occupied, I enjoy the tinkering at times and it's simple to return to the old regime, mostly nothing ventured and all that lol

I Admit I am lazy so i am jumping right in and I bet this got addressed by page 3 LOL.

The answer lies entirely in the type of medium! For example 50/50 Perlite/Peat can NEVER be overwatered hence constantly watered.
Many mediums would not get enough Oxygen at the roots if a DRYING period was not allowed! Hence abstinence lol
