No it's not normal to be a harsh smoke if it's been dried with some care at least, not in my experience anyway.
Curing it improves it but doesn't make poor weed good or good weed bad ime.

Fuck!I ranned out of places to dry So i dry it in paper bags in an abbandoned building.i know that wasn t the best choice but what was i supposed to do...this was my only outdoor grow for this year...Saddly i worked pretty hard for it but in the end something bad happened like my mom smelling it in the bathroom cause my “so called friend” changed his mind in the last moment when he knew i told him bout drying in His place...Anyway Thanks for ur reply MAN!

An old abandoned building?! Lol. Check those buds for mould maybe.

Also...do you mean 4 day drying, or 4 day curing? Curing happens in jars (after drying has finished), "drying" is what happens when you put bud in paper bags...

What strain is it?? Some strains, like lemon strains, smoke harsh. I like that type of harshness.

I feed my plants up to the day of harvest and my weed doesn't taste harsh. I also don't cure. Just dry and jar. Weed smells and tastes great. Not harsh at all. People compliment me on my weed. I've even had people ask me how long I cured it for and when I tell them I didn't they act surprised. In fact I like fresh weed over old cured weed. Just my personal taste.

What I dont understand is why folks know someone is doing something seriously illegal and still offering help to the dumbass not smart enough to not trespass in order to dry his weed.
