First time grower

Okay this is a first timer speaking and I have a strange little node that seems to have a very fine hair coming out of it. I am still in veg state and have not gone to 12/12. The camera is not great so i hope you all can see and maybe some can tell me if this is a hermi or a female.

I am going to go to 12/12 in about one more week or atleast that is the plan. There is a faint circle around the area in question. Thanks in advance for your response

Don't panic..normal..just wait to see if girl/boy..I've noticed males look more bunch/grape like.. light cycle means shit..when they're ready to show, they do...I'll go 90% chance female..

I was just wondering. If the plant is showing the sex on a 19hr light cycle, is it even necessary to switch to a 12/12? I was still planning on it but I was thinking that if its already showing sex maybe it will flower on its current light cycle

Yes it is necessary to change to 12/12. She will stay in it's vegetative stage as long as you keep her there. Sex can be shown during the vegetative stage. Bud formation however will not begin until you switch to the flowering light cycle 12/12.
