It's mad, yours looks so green, mines in a greenhouse and it's gone all kinds of mad purples, I reckon mine could be Saturday too, it looks done from the pistils but checked trichomes and there's still a few clear and no Amber yet

Color on the pic is a bit out as the fukin flash went off by accident.
I've not much choice other than to pull here, the benefits of having a green house although I'd love a poly tunnel..

I had serious issues with bud rot this year, ended up chopping a few early, greenhouse is great as you can grow some big plants, more protected from the elements but still doesn't stop the fecking bud rot, in fairness it was a shit summer with rain and high humidity

Be interesting to know what they use, I found a small bit of rot yesterday but I'm not too worried, just let that sun do its job now for the rest of the week and hope the rain and the public stay away..

Morning Brains Trust. Sorry if I’m hi-jacking anyone’s thread. I’m after advice from people with more knowledge than me!
So I’ve got a 160 x 70 x 70 tent in my shed. Said shed is about 14’ x 10’.
I just put my seeds into pots yesterday I started off with the lights at 75cm above the the pots and my Spider Farmer 1000 up full. Problem is I couldn’t get it above 18 degrees with the fan off, I dropped the light down to about 30cm and the temp rose to a little over 19 degrees, I came out at 8am this morning and they were at 15 degrees.
I’m waiting on my hygrometer to arrive to check humidity and I’m yet to install my Carbon filter and extractor fan.The only air coming in is through one of the passive flaps being open.
I was thinking of getting something like this in order to try and get the temp up and hopefully it’d be able to retain the heat when the light goes off for sleepy time at 10am till 4 pm. http://irishinsulationdirect.com/attic-tank-insulation-and-covers.html

Have any of you fine folks grown in a shed? Am I pissing in the wind trying to do so over the winter? Thanks in advance!

Nice one for that. I was kinda thinking that would be the case. Would the heater go in the tent or outside? Do you know of any heaters that don’t suck the leccy? (If such a thing exists!) Cheers.

Greenhouse heater inside the tent, they range from 20w-100w AFAIK. And some blankets around the tent for added insulation

Cheers pal, have you tried this type? They get mixed reports but they can be got for about 35 euro. Not bad at all....if they work!

Not yet but I'm planning to order 2 for my tents. I figure they're worth a shot. I ran a 250w air fan heater last year, did the job but absolutely slaughtered the ESB bill

Well, new to this site. First time grower. I've been reading your thread all summer and I'm coming to the end of my first grow. Due to chop tomorrow, looking forward to it. Really basic set up to start. Had some difficulty with soil at the start. Lost 1 plant nearly lost a second but manage to transplant on time. Just using plain old soil now. Plain water until flower then used some homemade nutrients and they took to it really well. But yeah, handy enough just left them to it and they are looking pretty good.
