Yeah but check the grid hookup contracts and rates. Most of the new installs the grid suppliers are under no obligation to take your excess power and if they do they’ll pay you peanuts for it so unless you get batteries or run everything during the day when it’s hottest you won’t see nearly as big of a saving as you should6.6kw system 20 x 330w panels installed

That's right ...they will pay 6-11cents nowadays which only knock of maybe 200 of a 1k billYeah but check the grid hookup contracts and rates. yeah and to many people getting solar grid cant keep up with volts wich means power cant be fed into grid so any power not being used or stored is lostThat's right ...they will pay 6-11cents nowadays which only knock of maybe 200 of a 1k bill
That’s even if they take it. SA won’t take new solar grid inputs from residential PV because the grid apparently can’t handle it. They also want existing and future pv systems to have a remote switch so they can stop panels pumping into the grid if it “can’t cope”. They should probably just invest in grid stability and large scale storage options like kinetic batteries or pumped hydro. That's right ...they will pay 6-11cents nowadays which only knock of maybe 200 of a 1k bill
So in other words waste of fkn money. That's right ...they will pay 6-11cents nowadays which only knock of maybe 200 of a 1k bill
Only if you putting the excess into the grid. Batteries are where you make the most savings with solarSo in other words waste of fkn money.
Pretty much unless your on the older rates locked in like I am 54c-66ckwSo in other words waste of fkn money.
