Dangers of harvesting top cola before the rest of the plant?

I am seeing a few Amber Trichomes on the top cola of my plant. But the rest of the bud sites are clear/cloudy. Would chopping the top cola ONLY do harm to the rest of my plant?

I like my stuff to punch me in the face, so i'd try to go another 7-10 days. but, you could def harvest the entire plant anytime.

Do you wait for 100% Amber?
Oh no. I just know that most of the time, amber trichomes that are seen through a loupe/phone/scope whatever are actually the trichs on the small sugar leaves that are mixed in on the actual bud sites.

You don't go by the trichs on the leaves. And unfortunately, that makes it difficult sometimes.

Interesting. Which part of the plant do I look at to see trichs? Or which is the best way to determine when to harvest? I don’t want to pull the plant early. I did that in my last grow.
